They just started a new daytime "drop in" option a few weeks ago. Adults have to stay with the kids and it's relatively no frills... mainly arts/crafts, a place to run around on a rainy day, etc. Let me see if I can find where I read more info about this.

Yes, this is what I was talking about. I wanted to see if anyone had done it and if it's worth taking my 3 year old for an hour or so. I also wanted to know what the crafts are that you can pay for.

I know I'm up way too late because I thought the top dessert was buttered toast at first! Is it a cake or bread with whipped cream or frosting on it? They all look yummy! Thanks for taking the time and effort to post them.

Have a fantastic trip with your DD.
It was a pie! Crust with chocolate pudding/mousse with cream on top!

The orange one was good. Like a mango thick pudding/creamy thing on top. Very nice!

Thanks! These mom n me trips are so fun.

Ugh!! The laundry room looks so far away from everything! I was hoping to throw a load of clothes in then read by the pool until it was time to put them in the dryer. Then pool time again until clothes are done. What do you do with your time when doing laundry at the Poly?

I think there is an app now for laundry, I don't do laundry so not up on it but google it. Pretty sure you can know when your load is done etc. @GADisneyDad14 is right it is close and easy for pools.[/QUOTE]

Above is view from 1515 in Hawaii. Hard to see but in person castle is straight ahead. Great view of fireworks last night.

Any Kone Cafe lovers? Top 2 are sticky wing app and the wok bowl with chicken , yum!

We go for lunch every visit so several times a year. They have an all new lunch menu.

They bring out some bland looking rolls but oh my, pineapple rolls with macadamia butter! Tasted even better with the sticky wings!

I was so hungry at 10p last night so after lunch I made myself 2 shrimp wraps in the cl lounge and grabbed some nuts for later. I have those plate covers that look like shower caps but you could use your cap if needed.

I also grabbed a wine to go and ended up putting that in the fridge too. At disney I eat more later due to all that walking!

Ooh! How late does the lounge stay open?

Random thought.

I have also stayed cl at CR a few times MKv. I always request the room number so you can see the castle from the bed. This is my 4th lv/TPV poly cl visit. Rooms 1505, 1511, 1513 and now 1515.

So when you lay in bed the view is of gf/ and far left bungalow. I can watch the boats too. I think in future I will request odd number room when on this side of building . Dd is asleep or I would open windows and get a pic. Will try later.!

This gives idea.

Thank you I would of never known about being able too keep track of the laundry room. It makes that an option for us now.

On the laundry view page for a specific laundry room, there is also a link for "weekly stats". It shows a table of hourly slots for each day with colours in each box reflecting the average degree of use in that hour during the last two weeks. so you can look at it and see e.g. (made up times) that sunday from 4 - 6 pm is really busy while sunday 8-10 pm is really light use, and plan accordingly [checking of course at the actual time you want to use to see what is up before trudging over to the laundry room].

Hang at the pool with a drink in hand. Laundry time is one of my favorite times. Peace and quiet.

Just did online check in for our September trip.

We're staying in a standard view room, was shocked to see my only choices for room requests were;

1. Balcony
2. Ground Floo
3. Aotearoa Longhouse

Was really hoping for an option with a king bed.

Disney's online check in room choice options are very limited and even irrelevant to many booking categories. If a King bed is important to you, definitely call and have that (and any other request) noted on your room reservation. I would otherwise leave the online check in options blank.

I remember King Bed being one of the options listed in the past before. Only reason why I found it odd it wasn't included.
