First I clicked places to stay, then view special offers. I then scrolled down to the bottom of the page and clicked "Enjoy an Enchanted Escape and Save up to 25% on Rooms at select Disney Resort Hotels". I click " Check availabilty" on the right and then enter in your dates 9/30 - 10/7 and enter 1 adult and 1 child age 10. Not sure of the childs age but 10 is Disney adult. All the available resorts for the offer come up on screen and about half way down the page is POR. I see Pool, King, Preferred and River available.

Enchanted room offer? I don't see anything either. I'm going to follow your instructions and see if it changes.

Okay I did it this way and still nothing.

Welp, I've checked at least 100 times today and still no availability for FD on Sep 4 - 18th at Pop (Or really any 2 week period with an arrival date in late August to early September). Hoping for more luck tomorrow

I was able to get my rooms for free dining!!! Woohoo!! I was on at about 5:40 am EST (3:40 for me in Mountain) and was finished before 6:00 am!! I was booking two rooms at AS Sports, which is what I wanted, ended up getting standard rooms which again is what I wanted (cheap as possible is the name of the game for this trip). This will be a sister and kids trip, so 2 adults and 4 kids and we are super excited! However, in all my drowsy excitement I accidently booked my room for one extra day. So far today I have been unable to change that in my reservation, I keep getting "no availability" which is odd since it is available for 6 nights but not 5?? If all else fails, I should be able to call and get an agent to drop my extra day without having to rebook the reservation, correct? Thanks in advance for any insight.

That's funny because I can get Sports standard for 6 nights but not 7. What are your dates? They must have more "6 day" allocations for the promo. I'm not sure if you will be able to add a day easily, but there was mention that being transferred to "guest services" may give you the pixie dust you need to lose that extra day. Worth a call.

On another note, you have a similar mindset as me...cheap as possible for this trip! I know my son and husband will love the theming but I'm not as into it. I am nervous about staying at Sports. I've only stayed at POR, Pop and BC. Any thoughts on Sports to ease my mind? Thanks and good luck!

Because it's no longer an inconience if you now choose to book there KNOWING there is major construction. I believe the GCs were offered for existing and a while newer ressies when it was announced there is no real dining facility. Many were po'd booking a year ago and told stay and get GC or we move you.

I believe the cut-off also came shortly after a lot of the more popular bloggers started putting the GC offer out there. I'm sure that enticed many people into booking CBR and Disney no longer needed to worry about filling up those rooms.

In Safari click the toggle option and down the bottom it will have private option. That's the Safari version of incognito.

That was me. I was moved to a 2 bedroom villa at SSR for no extra money. And I got FD yesterday on top of that.

Just looked it up. Seems mugs are good for length of dtay 14 days!!! At all resorts. Yeah!! So we can keep using those after FD with our RO. Tip: book RO AFTER FD package.

I love a good deal...how easy is swagbucks? Not sure if you can do this but do you have a referral? I may try this out! Several people have mentioned it on here.
