Amazon Prime Now

Hi, @belleincanada,
Amazon Prime Pantry is $5.99 (for two-day delivery) per shipment and focuses on cereal, vitimins, laundry detergent. Delivery is normally two days. Included with your Amazon Prime membership.
Amazon Prime Now is free (for two-hour delivery) and (IMO) focuses on things in your day-to-day life that you may need quickly. They have power cords, chargers, milk, toothpaste, yogurt, some books. Included with your Amazon Prime membership.
Amazon Fresh is an additional $299/year (for either same-day or 24-hour delivery) and focuses on fresh items--like fruits and veggies.
If you have Amazon Prime, the Amazon Prime Now is a good option.

That actually was a really good description. I'm impressed, I don't think I could have said it that well. Good job.

I used Prime Now for water ($4 a case of Dasani), almond milk, and a couple other items. Delivered to Pop on 8/23, the morning we checked in. After our room was ready, bell services put it all in the room, and put the almond milk in the fridge for me! I didn't even have to call for it (but I did have to call for the Prime Pantry box I had ordered, LOL).

Interestingly, I couldn't get water in my Prime Pantry box for Pop, thus I used Prime Now. There were some items I wanted that each either did or did not have.

I may use it again in the future.

Staying at CBR a week away! So excited. Anyway, if I do use prime now and the food gets delivered to the front desk will I have to lug a 24 pack of water and ect back to th room?

No. Your order will be delivered to Bell Services. From your room you can call them and ask them to bring it up to you.

Wwe have Amazoon Prime here in Canada, does anybody know if this works for down in Florida?

Any updates on how well this is working? It's about time to place my order & I'm still torn between Amazon & Garden Grocer. I'm staying at Bay Lake Tower.

We used it last April and they delivered within two days (as stated at ordering). Had to pay Swan hotel $5.00 but the staff delivered the order to our room....we tipped him too.

At Caribbean beach currently ordered prime now on the plane before we left, got to the hotel and there was much confusion as to where it was but eventually found and deliverd

Has anyone used Amazon Prime Now (NOT pantry) to get groceries/items delivered to the resort? I checked the app and they do deliver to the zip code. Can anyone speak from personal experience?
We've used Amazon Prime several times when staying at the resorts. Had no issues and hoping PrimeNow is the same.

Used Prime Now twice while staying at Disney over Labor Day weekend. It worked great both times. Placed one order the day before our trip. It was delivered to Wilderness Lodge Bell Services. My husband had to go down and sign for it, but then they brought the packages up for him. We then moved to the Boardwalk Inn and had our bags transferred. We made another Prime Now order while in the parks. When we got to the Boardwalk Inn we called for our bags and they brought them and our Prime Now package. We thought it worked wonderfully!

This is true, also true with Amazon Prime....UNLESS you want your stuff immediately. In 2015, our Prime ordered arrived before us. We checked in, asked about our order, went to the parks, order was there when we arrived.
2016 (same resort AoA), checked in, asked about our order, went to the parks, order not there...called said it was coming. It was not there next morning...order contained breakfast stuff. Option was to wait for bell services to deliver it whenever that day or borrow a cart and lug it myself. With Amazon Prime Now, I had to tell front desk that I got package...again it was either borrow a cart and lug it myself or wait around for delivery.

So just be aware that it could be the next day before you get your stuff.

I am an AmazonPrimeNow delivery driver and the policy of where we deliver packages has changed a bit since it launched. All packages are now delivered to Bell/Luggage Services and packages are indeed available 24 hours a day and they will deliver them to you upon request.

Last night I delivered packages to both Pop Century and All Star Sports and I delivered the packages to Luggage Services. One delivery I had was for a Guest checking in this coming Saturday. You are able to set up delivery for future times and are able to tip in the app and that amount can be updated for up to 24-48 hours after delivery. Drivers are not allowed to take cash tips so that way your experience can be better.

Shipt also delivers groceries and while I don't deliver for them I imagine it is the same process.

I am by no means soliciting business here as that is not allowed in the DisBoards guidelines. I am only responding so that you have the most correct information possible to allow you to make an educated decision. Have a Magical Day!

Thanks, yes, when I ordered Amazon Prime Now in June, it was delivered to the front desk. It took some time to find the package.

I still think that if the package is delivered to bell services/luggage services, there is no guarantee that DISNEY will deliver it immediately. Like I said in 2015, we went to the front desk and they delivered within a few hours, whereas in 2016, they would have delivered, but it was not automatic and it took time. The response from the front desk (I was actually at the front desk, not on the phone) was something like "It will get delivered while they are making their rounds today." It was not just sent to our room when we called. This was also at AoA, a value resort. Therefore, I opted to take the things myself (with a borrowed cart) because I didn't want to wait.

When we were at Beach Club, we pulled up to the curb and had bell services hold our luggage, when we called for it to our room, it was there in just a few minutes.

Can you by any chance tell me the correct delivery address for Animal Kingdom DVC - Kidani Village? When I shop Amazon Prime NOW and go to my cart it won't let me go past entering delivery address as it says it is not a valid delivery location. I am trying to use: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, 2901 Osceola Pkwy., Bay Lake, FL 32830.

If only they delivered alcohol :simba:

They don't, but Safeway now delivers to Disney resorts! And they do deliver beer and wine! Prices are much better than Garden Grocer.

I'm using them for our spring break trip in March (I use Safeway delivery at home sometimes, if I'm under the weather or just too busy). I'm already working on our cart!

Many people say they have successfully used Amazon Prime NOW. I wonder how then???
