We have never done park hoppers, but I'm ok with it if we have to. Actually now that my kids are older, I'm a little excited to try it out. They never would have made it when they were younger.
Actually, the reason PH work so well for us (even as two adults) is because we take afternoon breaks lol We usually hit up a park in the am, stay until after lunch, head back to the hotel for some swimming or a nap/shower then head out for the night to another park.

Sorry to be off topic everyone. I tried to PM her but couldn't.

@Stephanie Isaacson
I can't tell based on historical discounts what the % discount for Fort Wilderness Cabins is, however, the room discount was 20%-30% for all. So assuming the Cabins were included, I went with the lowest discount of 20%. Here's what I got:

RO discount
Room: $1,178.02
Dining: 1,202.00
2A 2C 4 day tickets: 1,260.00
2 FL 4 day tickets: 418.00
Total: $4058.02

Free Dining: $3,954.98

With such a close total I would suggest looking at a dining plan calculator and seeing if the places you are eating will really amount to the cost of the dining plan. You could go either way with this one.

Also, if the discount for the Cabins is greater than 20% then your savings could be better.

Thanks so much! I appreciate you looking into this.

Haha I'm actually wishing away my whole summer because I WANT TO BE AT DISNEY WORLD!!

I am also terrible and wishing away the summer! Between finally defending my degree this summer and going to Disney World in September, I could do with it just being September! I can't say my mom appreciates when I talk about this trip! (She works in the school systems so doesn't like it when I wish away her summer too!)

I had a rather short CM this morning too. This FD craziness is probably wearing on them as well lol

I'm sure it is!!! I bet they wish they would go ahead and release it already lol. Or at least give them something to tell us aside from "check back later"

Me too!! I just started back working from being a sahm and this will be my 2nd summer working. Not nearly as fun and childcare expenses triple so yeah, we can wish the summer away too!

See, i'M the cheap one here. For al of us last year it was $260 more for park hoppers. We have NEVER bought them before. We add them because we had to, but we only used them once the entire trip. So for me, if they would have made us upgrade from standard rooms, and add the hopper, we would have been inched toward saying maybe free dining isn't a deal for us. But we did keep standard rooms, so I bought the park hoppers, but wasn't happy about buying something we don't use.

We are only planning on using PHs once or twice in 9 days so I would much rather save the money! It's almost the same price for us to add ph as it is to do mnsshp (assuming they don't hike the price way up) so that would be a nice savings!

Well I tried to do the multiquote and failed lol. Somehow my response to the first person quoted is IN the quote. Oops! Guess my phone screen is too small for me to figure that out

Seems about right to me too! That's would I would do without the kiddos!

Ha! :) We felt like Magic Kingdom was especially busy and the people were so pushy and rude! Way way more than normal. And the MNSSHP was absolutely nuts! Although to be fair, we were used to almost no crowds for the MNSSHP, so maybe we were expecting too much.
Anyway, we're going the 16-24 this year. It's been 2 years and I can't wait!! :) Hoping for lower crowds. :)

I can't wait either! If you see a solo 30-ish female wandering around with a huge grin on her face, that's me!

We have 7 adults and the salute tickets are only.good for 6 :(...i didbt think it would work anyway because they take your ID when you activate so if you try to activate 2 cards within 1 year they would know. Havent tried it, but i have a feelibg it wouldnt work.
I bought7- 8 day PH plus water before the price.went up. It came to $463/ person

This won't help you for this year since you've already purchased tickets and it definitely won't help if you want FD, BUT it does work.

Three of your party could use the 6 Salute tickets back to back and then the other four would need the tickets you purchased. That would save you almost $300. So, if they do the Salute offer again next year, keep that in your back pocket for next year's trip.

We love it. Switching it up for a December trip to do Christmas time, and to celebrate son's 13th and daughters 6th, but Trick or Treating in the Magic Kingdom is one of the coolest things I have ever done (and that was at 38 and 40).

We loved trick or treating too. The parade was perfect! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Now, the Christmas party we won't be doing again...did not feel it was worth the money...

Let's pretend that I get what I want. I am going to book the bb if it's offered. As much fun as this anticipation has been, I'd rather sacrifice the 400.00 to make sure I have it for next year.
Seriously! I am kicking myself for not inquiring about the bounceback offer when I was there in September.
