Hello. My name is Erica and I'm a caramel apple addict. It has been 5 minutes since my last caramel apple.

I have been in Disney World for 5 days and I have had eight (yes I repeat - eight) caramel apples. :rolleyes1 Okay, but I DID share most of these with my husband so this makes it okay, right?? Even if its in addition to dining plan desserts at lunch and dinner, Mickey ice creams, bakery treats? :confused3

Good grief, I am going to leave Disney 50 pounds heavier! I'm blaming all of you Dis'ers for writing about all these delicious treats, especially the apples.

Now, to decide which one I will try tomorrow...:rotfl2:

You can eat all you want and you won't gain a pound. It is what we refer to as "The Disney Diet." You will walk so much you burn off what you eat. I eat things there that I never eat at home...and the quantities are huge. Never gain a pound. Man, I love Disney!

I agree! It's the only vacation in which I don't have to worry about weight gain, and I eat what I want! Dole Whip right after a Citrus Swirl? Don't mind if I do!

Also, I've never tried the caramel apples at Disney, but I'm planning to do just that in January!

EXACTLY! actually I'm COUNTING ON IT!:thumbsup2 we'll be there 12 days and between walking and stuff I sure hope I don't put much or any on! plus I'm a diabetic so that will rule out a lot of the sweet stuff! ::yes::YAY!

We went 2 years ago and ate everything we wanted...DH lost 7 lbs and I lost 9 even though I had "trained" for WDW by walking 3-5 miles a day. DD has really long legs and I double-timed quite a bit to keep up.

My son chose an apple (the white chocolate one with the crumb coating on the bottom half) as his treat the first day. We brought it back and put it in the fridge where it sat until it was time to go home. We packed it in our bag and put it back in the fridge when we got home, where it continued to sit. Finally one day, he decided it was time to enjoy it. Purchased on July 4, eaten on August 13! It was delicious!!

Not to worry. The good stuff in the apple cancels out the bad stuff in the caramel and other toppings so really, it's like you ate nothing at all. You know, it's like putting vegetables on pizza makes it healthy. :D

If you like caramel apples, make sure to have a LeFeou's Brew...it's like a caramel apple slush, and it's very good!

I did not know that. LeFou's Brew wasn't on my list but it is now. Thanks for the tip.

Mmmmmm, caramel apples!! I'm almost positive calories don't count at Disney!! :D

This is like me with the Minnie's Baking Company cookies. I am seriously addicted to them and eat at least two a day. I'm already Pooh-sized, so I figure what the hey.

BTW is Lefous brew anything like a butterbeer?:jumping1:

You need to go to Goofy's candy shop in DTD. You can custom make your own apple!
