For anyone who cancelled a previous reservation, did you receive a cancellation email? I took a screenshot of my cancellation, but didn't receive any other type of confirmation.

Got up at 5:30am est to check FD and saw its live! However, both CBR and CSR are showing no availability for std room for FD the dates we want so sticking with POFQ. Crazy how the mod rooms have gone sooo quickly!! Maybe next year we will get FD or I get super lucky and get a RO discount or a pin.

Congrats to those that got what they wanted!!

Since everyone on here is saying standard rooms were gone with FD, I'm thinking that Disney just didn't include them in the promo. Basically, you can eat for free but you'll have a more expensive room and have to pay for PH. They're definitely thinning the FD crowd.

No FD for me. My dates couldn't change so when I checked this morning and the mid resorts only had one room type available for $600 more than than the standard. Even deluxe only had concierge level available. For only 2 pp over a long weekend it's cheaper to just purchase the DDP.

Now to see if I can get a UOC/PIN or a RO disc.

Okay so I am trying to modify an existing reservation to add the dining offer but when they show me the rooms available at Pop it says "We are unable to show rates at this time. Please try again or check back later." does this mean there are no rooms available? If so, that really bums me out.

that's what it means. looking at check ins around 10/1 and nothing @ Pop.

Get a Free dining plan when you purchase a non-discounted 6-night/7-day Magic Your Way package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and tickets with Park Hopper or Water Park Fun & More Option

They actually did the 6 night minimum... I guess it was a move to curtail the locals from using it for a weekend getaway.

Advice: Will I have any issues canceling my previous reservation? I couldn't get it to modify (it was being wonky) so I just booked a new reservation and now I can't even cancel said wonky reservation online. I don't want to hold for an hour, if I call in the next few days will I be okay? I don't want them to do anything to my new reservation. Yes I am paranoid.

It wouldn't let me modify but I had no problems booking a brand new reservation and immediately cancelling my old one online.

Just Modified mine online! It took 5 minutes. But, it gave me a message that I was changing dates ....but the dates are the same....Was hoping to change to a woods view, but had to stick with courtyard....looks like rooms were very limited......price went up about $55(free)for the total package

I cannot believe it! I just save us o little over $1000 dollars by being able to modify to FD. And I made my parents a new ressie w/ FD b/c they are scared of the new"modify" button, lol. We both got the glitchy email. My Mama is so nervous we have QS only, I'm trying to reassure her through texts that "my board peeps" are seeing some of the same stuff. I will call just to ease her mind I guess.

GO US!!! Been a long night but we hung in there didn't we, board peeps? I want to tell my family but those kids are sick and finally fell asleep so no wakey the kids.

We did FD last year at pop and upgraded to DDP from QS. I freaked about the email confirmation, but MDE was correct and we had absolutely no issues while on vacation with our dining plan. Hopefully that makes you breathe easier.

I tried to make my ressies at 430am CST this morning and ended up paying $1500 more than budgeted because both POR and CBR say the same thing.... I am quite frustrated right now... Guess waiting didn't pay off this year.
