Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Lets Talk Characters!

I know some of you are going to be put off by this question, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something....What's the draw of standing in line for Santa at WDW? Doesn't he make trips to everyone's local mall? I get standing in line for the Dwarfs, Rapunzel, and Elsa and Anna (we don't get to see those folks everyday)....but if it was a toss up between Santa and anyone else at the park....I would go with anyone else at the park. What am I missing?

Because santa at the mall is like 30 bucks a photo I just think part of the experience is the great bavkdroo they provide as well.

I'm glad you asked....now that I'm thinking your right. If I catch him with a 5-10 min wait we'll go ahead and see him but anything more that that I'll pass especially since my kids will buy my story that goofy Santa is the real santa's helper so they can disclose their wish list to him ;)

Is santa usually long? Jack is long purely because of the amount of interaction he has with the guess he takes a good 4/5 mins each guest

I would say that's partially true. Jack is a pretty loquacious character. But his line is also super long because the character is extraordinarily popular and putting him in the Santa outfit makes him different from the MNSSHP M&G, so more people will double on him at both events.

We were at the party on Friday, my son was the last person to see Santa. We got in line just in time at 11:20p, as soon as we entered they closed the line. My son saw him at 11:58pm. Well they did allow one family in after we got in line but I'm pretty sure they were a make a wish family and they went straight to the front (as they should). We had tried to get in line for Wiinie the pooh and friends right before that and we were too late, the line was closed. Too early imo.

Because I'm adult and wouldn't take my picture with a mall Santa. But, I'm going to DW at Xmas time (for the first/only time), I'm going to get my picture taken with Santa!

But, I'm not going to waste party time for Santa. He is there during regular park hours I won't see him during the party.

Now that I know Mrs. Claus is with him in Epcot, I think I'll go there to meet him. :) Where will he be at Epcot?

We didn't meet anyone else unfortunately. I thought we could easily meet a few characters during the last hour and it did not work out as planned. Leave rides till the end instead. Santa did do a nice job of talking with my son, I will try to post a pic tomorrow.

I think by the American pavilion

Please do you son looks like a cutie from your signature photos!

I got to squeeze another day out of my better half so I have more than enough time to meet the characters that I want.

Anna and Elsa lines were bad too?

Where is the Santa and Mrs. Claus M&G at Epcot? I'd much rather meet them there than just Santa during the party.

Really excited about the party this year! I want to meet jack. He's my fave character and would love to see him in his Santa suit!

I'm happy to stand in line but I'm going to the party with someone who has a disabled card is there any way you can get a cast member to mark a card to come back later like you can with rides. We are willing to wait as long as everyone else jus would be ideal if we didn't have to be in line as that might mean we can't meet jack. We didn't get to meet the dwarfs last year *** the line was too long for them but I never thought of asking if there was something like that to wait elsewhere.

No, DAS cards cannot be used during the party.
