If the BC rooms are being refurbished now does that mean the YC will follow after?

Yes. However, BC rooms haven't been started yet. Soon ... sometime in October is start date. Lobby furniture is done. And they are working on club level lounge at the present time.

Teena, we posted at the same time.

I see your boat has landed on the other side of your ticker.

Bon Voyage!!!

:woohoo:

And... Ben's 8th Grade Disney trip is in June (All Star Movies) :cool1: I need to get going on some tickers.

Awesome....I need to change school districts. I was denied an 8th grade Canobie trip after doing it for 11 years

Come on up!

Our 7th grade goes to Canobie every year.

I went before my town's School Council Monday night as a parent/chaperone on a past trip while the principal and teachers presented about the trip. Our middle school has been doing the Disney Y.E.S program for 13 years.

:thumbsup2

Thanks .... so excited! It's raining here now but forcasted to clear up around Noon. Just say prayers it is nice on Friday (our Castaway Cay day)!!!
I hope you have great weather, Teena. We're hoping to see you next Sunday. :)

Ok now since we have our trip planned I need to start looking at places to eat. We will do 1 character meal and then probably do 1 or 2 table and quick the rest. It will be me,wife, mother and 16yr old son with special needs so will need wheelchair access. We have been to Disney once 4 yrs ago thru Kidd's Kid's organization and we went unprepared.Need advice on the best places to eat or any other info please. Thanks

Head on over to the Restaurant Board for great info. You can ask questions and also read lots of reviews that may be helpful

So many great options nearby. Allears.net has all the restaurant menus. We like Cape May, Captains Grille, & Yachtsmen for a splurge! Beaches & Cream too! Then there's all the restaurants at Epcot & DHS. At DHS we like Sci Fi, and 50's Prime Time. Both fun atmosphere and food is good too!
At Epcot we enjoy Teppan Edo, The Seas, LeCellier ( although I haven't tried the new menu), Biergarten, & I want to try the New Mexican TS.

Wow that came up fast. It feels like you just got back from Nate's grade 8 trip. Time flies.

:wave2: hi everyone, hard to believe was it just 2 weeks ago I was leaving wdw?? And sitting with some of you at GF Cafe :confused3.
Time to start planning next trips!!! I'm thinking POR for January trip, my fav moderate. And Poly for next Aug. It's a hard choice!!! I do love YC too. A split is tempting, lol!! But also I like to nest, and unpack!

I just posted a mini TR of my GF stay on the GF thread so I won't repeat myself except to say I really enjoyed our stay there. So easy to pop into both MK or Epcot. And enjoyed just hopping on monorail or boat to eat at any MK resort.

I may be MIA for awhile, or not, :rotfl: having my knee replacement surgery next week. So after I get over initial post surgical pain, I may be here a lot, :rotfl: as I'll be home recovering and prob bored to tears!!!

Good luck with the surgery and recovery- sending along positive thoughts that it will be quick and as painless as possible!

We are here now (sitting at SAB as I type)... I was really hoping for a full balcony..and we scored! Got upgraded to CL and the room is huge. I have to say tho my one complaint (minor) is the coffee... Lol it's terrible and you have to wait till 7am to get it! Lol early riser here. MK was a lot more crowded than 2 years ago when we came... I knew Epcot would be and boy is it! Food has been great- raglan road was our fave so far! Beaches and cream- ice cream to die for...
Couldn't do the kitchen sink... It's day 4 of 6 and it's going way too fast!

We stayed at POR in 2012 and the food choices (and coffee)... Oh and bus service were all much better! Do love it here; think the pool is a tad over-rated... Would stay here again!

Does Club Level have applesauce for kids and soy milk? My son has food allergies and am just wondering if he will be able to eat anything.
