Today the 2015 package pricing is out. I am planning a trip for September 2015.

I had my heart set on Club Level. (I thought it was only $900 more / $100 per day)

I was wrong its $1500 more for our stay.

If I just do Garden View not club level will I still love staying at a deluxe resort?

Does Club Level really make it that much better for $1500????

With the RO discount this year, it would make it only $100 more, so I wouldn't sweat it yet. You are very far out for the RO discounts, and there's a good chance you'll be able to get one for next Sept.

I just booked a Garden View room for Sept 19-16, 2015!!!! I am so excited!!!

I was debating between Garden and Lagoon view, but for some reason the only rooms available were Garden View. Not even for my in-laws, who are just 2 to a room, I could not see a single other option, including club-level or standard. I assume it is a glitch.

Garden view is still a nice view, right? I just don't want to be on the balcony with a glass of wine while the kids sleep staring at a gravel roof or bus stop. It does save $$, though.

I am so excited to finally book!!! Now to worry about getting a discount, making ADRs, and then booking FP+s. I love planning a Disney trip!!!

The majority of deluxe resort guests stay in regular rooms. They don't do club level. We have never stayed club level and never plan to. Club level has some benefits, but for most people the beverages and snacks that come with club level are not worth the extra cost. My DH and I could buy a lot of food for the extra $100 per day that club level would cost. :)

The gravel roof view rooms are standard view. Many of the garden view rooms face Epcot and some will have a partial view of the high fireworks from Illuminations. Some garden view rooms will have a partial view of the lake, which is nice. You could always keep checking for a lagoon view to open up. :)

I definitely agree here and will add that having stayed in a regular garden view room in the past, I can honestly say you will still enjoy your deluxe stay :goodvibes

Thank you all for responding. I have to add dinning plan even if we did club level because my husband won't just do cereal and pastries for breakfast. So we would not use CL for breakfast much. So I am waiting for my TA too book Garden View 9/9 - 9/17. And we are talking about doing a day at Discovery Cove, but I need more reviews to know if that's worth the cost

Just an FYI ... they have hard boiled eggs and hot oatmeal with all the fixings besides fruit and pastries for breakfast at the Y&B in club level.

I would love that, but my husband and kids need their pancakes and waffles. Teena will I be disappointed without club level?

I really wanted to thank everyone here for being so extremely friendly and helpful! I have not experienced the same kindness on other threads... I hope after my stay in november I will be able to "pay it forward" and help others in the future.

Cute! I was also looking at the euro Disney hotels and I noticed that they all say 2 double beds, including the deluxe hotels. Is that right? They don't have any quad rooms? I've never been to Europe with the kids, but in all my (younger years of travel) in EU my recollection is that a quad room had 4 twin beds. Now, many hotels don't even offer quad rooms, but I'm surprised euro Disney has 2 doubles. Am I reading this right?

Hi. I'm a lurker here, planning a BC trip in 2016 (!) but have been to Disneyland Paris 6 times. 2 doubles is pretty standard. There are rooms for 5 in Disneyland Hotel (2 doubles plus one) and rooms with double plus bunk beds in the Cheyenne and some different options in the Davy Crockett Ranch and the partner hotels, but vast majority are 2 doubles. My boys always fight having to share a bed but I tell them if they want to go, that's it!! In 2 weeks we are heading to Vancouver, the Rockies and then flying to LA for Disneyland and of the 6 hotels we are staying in have only found one where the boys get separate beds. I wish there were more places with that option but I guess 2 single beds need more space than a double?

Absolutely not. Especially with the dining plan.

Here's my personal take: Without the dining plan, to me (and my husband likes the CL breakfast), club level is worth it. Especially with Jeanne and Lily who will eat up the snacks like crazy and love the desserts, appetizers and Jeanne likes her wine!

With the dining plan this past trip, we were scrambling the last day to use all the snacks up and we had leftover quick service meals. All the desserts we got with the quick service meals we did use, we had in the room refrigerator. So we came home with nine desserts from that, plus Jeanne got those Disney decorated cookies ... 12 of them ... to take home for gifts for kids ... because we didn't use up any of the snack credits. Then we took home three sandwiches for dinner when we got home plus desserts and bottled water that came with it. Now, when we don't have club level, we would not have lots and lots of leftover credits. But with the dining plan, wow ... it was hard to use them up.

Keep in mind, if you use your quick service meals for lunch at the pool or at the resort and not the parks, you'll have your refillable mugs with you. Use them for your drink with lunch. And with your meal, you get the meal, dessert, and a drink, so get a Smart Water!! That's like $4.00 to buy and you can take it with you later at the parks. We end up taking the dessert back to the room and put it in the refrigerator.

If you know how to use the dining plan, you can make out on it. However, with the price being so much now, you really need to get every cent out of it.

So, if you are getting the regular dining plan and your husband wants to eat a REAL sit down breakfast every day, you need to pay cash for that. Then use the quick service meal for lunch. Get everything you are entitled to!!! Even if you don't want the dessert, get it and take it back to your room for later. Like I said before, if you are at the pool or resort, use your refillable mug for lunch and get a Smart Water as your quick service meal drink and take it and use it later. Then always use your one table service for dinner. If you are going to any "two credit meals", I've figured out money wise, it's best to pay for them. You lose on those deals normally. But if you use the one table service for a one credit dinner, make sure it's at somewhere like Teppan Edo, Captain's Grill, Cape May, Park Fare, etc. Don't use it at somewhere like Beaches and Cream or the Plaza Restaurant. Dessert comes with your dinners. If you aren't hungry for dessert after dinner, get it to go. Later that night you might be hungry! They are pricing the dining plan higher and higher and tips are NOT included. You need to plan on that extra cost too. Keep track of what your dinners and other meals you use the dining plan for would cost if you paid for it and also keep in mind that you probably would not be ordering the same things if you were not on the dining plan. So, for example, at dinner at most places, I would prefer no dessert but sometimes my husband and I like to split an appetizer. Get those prices. I did the math last trip and I think I would have saved money not getting the dining plan, just using my Tables in Wonderland and ordering what I wanted and not what I was forced to order. I certainly would not have purchased all those snacks.

Anyway, hope I helped a little with your decisions you need to make. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!!!

I'll be staying at YC for the first time in Sept with my 2 year old son. What would be a good room request so that I'm located close to BC Marketplace to get quick meals and mug refills? I've booked a Garden View Room. TIA!

For my family CL is worth it because we are a family of 5, we eat breakfast in the CL, we have snacks, drinks & desserts in the CL. My DH & I also enjoy an adult beverage from the CL. However, it is not a deal breaker for us. You will love YC/BC without CL. So nice to be able to walk to Epcot & Studios. We also enjoy taking to the boat to the Studios. There is so much to do in the boardwalk area. And SAB is the best pool at WDW! It is a great location! No matter what room you book, you will enjoy it.

We went to Discovery Cove in June and really enjoyed our day there. It was so relaxing, the food and drinks are included as is everything you need for the day (snorkel stuff, towels, sunscreen). DC comes with 14 days of unlimited admission to Sea World and Aquatica. We went to these parks one day each. We had planned on going to SW & Aquatica more and not going to WDW, but we missed WDW too much. We went to watch the World Cup Soccer at ESPN Zone (boardwalk) and found it very difficult not to go to Epcot. The next morning we bought tickets and went to Epcot and the next day MK! We realized there is no way we can be so close and not go to WDW parks. :rotfl2:
If you have any questions about Discovery Cove, please feel free to ask. There is also a lot of info on the Sea World/Discovery Cove boards.

Have a great vacation!

Hi Beach/Yacht Club family!

When we come in May (booking today with rates out!!!!!) my hubby and I will be celebrating our tenth anniversary on May 6 (second day we are there!)..and we want to do something special. We never ever get dates back here at home, we simply don't have the support system around us, so we decided we will do a date in Disney! We will drop our daughters off with the kids club at BC (they are sooooo excited about this!!) and we wanted to go get a couples massage at the spa before heading to dinner and an evening at Epcot. Can anyone point me in a direction where I would find the cost of spa treatments at the BC/YC?

We also thought about staying at YC this time for a change of pace, something new. The kids weren't willing to give up SAB, and frankly neither was I lol. Also, we love being walking distance to epcot. Do you think we will enjoy the YC after multiple BC stays?

I'm so excited everyone!!! I am secretly hoping for a decent bounceback offer when I go with my BFF and her son to AKL in September, but not counting on anything!

Thanks for chiming in! I know Disneyland Paris is totally OT. So, in the US a double bed is fairly narrow for 2 adults. It's narrower than a queen by about 5 inches (about 12 cm). Is that the case in the Disneyland Paris double beds?

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

I have a thread in the Resort Photo Subforum where guests have shared the room views for the 3 booking categories, both standard and club level rooms are included. I'll post the link here in a minute.

What will the view from my room be?

Effective with reservations on January 1, 2011, the view categories at the Beach and Yacht Clubs were reclassified into 3 booking categories:

Standard view- parking lot or rooftops
Garden view- something green- trees or courtyard
Lagoon or Water view- lake or pool

I started up two View Threads in the Resort Photo Subforum:

Beach Club Room Views

Yacht Club Room Views

The purpose of these threads is to give some samples of rooms in various view categories (standard, garden, lagoon/pool) at the Yacht and Beach Clubs.

I really wanted to thank everyone here for being so extremely friendly and helpful! I have not experienced the same kindness on other threads... I hope after my stay in november I will be able to "pay it forward" and help others in the future.

Thank you for your kind comment. We really try to keep this forum fun, friendly and conflict-free. We don't all have to have the same opinions, but I strongly believe it is possible to present helpful information in a courteous manner.

We look forward to getting to know you in the next year or two!

Would you like me to pencil you in for 2016? You can keep the other person on the 2016 list company.

:woohoo:

A request of "Close to Lobby, please" or "Close to BC Marketplace" are a couple of suggestions for a room request. You may want to specify whether you prefer an upper or lower floor.

:yay:

My Yacht Club/Club Level review is posted HERE.

Thank you for your detailed review and sharing your candid comments.

A lot of us feel like the resort is home!

I'm going to apologize in advance if the answer is right in front of me. My little ones are occupied (momentarily), and I just started reading this thread.

Do all of the 1st floor rooms have patios? I want to keep requests at a minimum but would really love a 1st floor room with a patio. My husband and I stayed at the BC over 7 years ago before we had kids. I loved our garden view 1st floor room. This will be the first time traveling with the kids in a standard hotel room (not having a separate bedroom), so I would love to be able to sit outside after the kids are asleep.

Thanks so much!
