I tried posting this on the dining reservations thread but didn't get any responses so thought I would try here since you all are SO helpful!!! During our upcoming BC stay I made a reservation for 50s PTC for 625. They recently changed the hours for DHS that day and they are now closing at 600 (I'm assuming for some sort of private event). I tried to rebook for earlier but of course there is no availability. Any idea if I will be able to keep that reservation for some odd reason? It is still showing as valid in MDE :confused3

Great question.

First- where are you reading about the hours change?

I don't know the answer, but I suspect the answer is no, you will not be able to keep the reservation. Are you trying to change the reservation time online? I would suggest you call in and explain the situation. If the CM on the phone is not able to help you make an earlier reservation, either ask to speak to a manager or try emailing guest relations.

:thumbsup2

Disney really keeps making a lot of changes to their schedule. I'm going in November and the EMH, regular hours, and show dates keep changing! It sure makes it hard to plan your park days 180 days out!

Not bad at all so far.

I was actually pretty happy with how I slept out west and in Hawaii. We had a brutal schedule Friday/Saturday (pickup for volcano tour at 7:15 on Friday, brought back to resort at 6 pm, flight to San Fran at 11 pm then flight to Boston landing at 5 pm. We all actually slept quite a bit during the red-eye, which I didn't think would happen. I was in bed last night around 9 pm our time, up for a couple of hours and then slept till after 8 am (I never sleep that late)

Have had an easy day, laundry and DISing and still feeling pretty good!

Need to start working on pictures soon!

Welcome back Dee!!!!!

Can't wait to see the pics!! So glad you guys had such a wonderful time!!

It's right back to this crappy Mass weather :(

Welcome home, Dee! I, too, am anxious to see pics. Love looking at anyone's vacation photos.

And yes, the crappy Mass weather is such a bummer this morning! So much for my beach day.

Getting so pumped up for our Beach Club trip in just 25 days! Love reading everyone's live reports and seeing real-time pictures. So bummed I'm going to miss the meet by just 4 days, and Teena will be away, too. To all who are there now, have a great time!!!

:goodvibes Add us to the list , please. We will be staying Dec.5-Dec. 13. We were staying at POFQ but switched to Beach Club when fall discount came out. First stay atBC, but have stayed at YC several times.:thumbsup2

I think I am all caught up on the Be Our Guest list, but I would appreciate if you would take a moment to look it over to see if your information is correct.

Let me know if you have any corrections or adjustments.

Thanks!

Post 15: Be Our Guest list

I have one small adjustment, we are now staying at YC until Sept. 2 instead of the 1st. Decided to extend our trip by a day so we could partake in the first MNSSHP of the year. Thanks!

I have my stay at BCV and as I've mentioned before I am doing a split stay hopefully the other half of the week at Yacht Club cl. But I keep changing my mind, should I just go ahead and book the remaining 1/2 a week at Beach Club and do cl there for a few days? The reason I'm thinking that, is that by next April the refurb at BC should be well along (maybe?) and working on YC? If I stay at BC for the whole time then possibly the lounge would be done and YC would be in the middle of it probably?

Of course all this depends on whether there will be room left when I'm ready to book. I'm also hoping for a bounceback offer for when I go in October to OKW. But I'm under the impression that the offer would probably be free dining and not a room discount (if I'm wrong on that let me know cause I'd personally prefer room discount lol)

Sorry if I'm rambling lol when it comes to YC and BC its kind of hard deciding which since I like both.

Hope everything is ok out your way, Jay!

Although we have had tornado warnings here today, we have just had rain so far, not much wind. But that is enough to keep me from going to the dreaded non-Market Basket grocery store.

:goodvibes

I'll make the change. Sounds like a great plan!

I know I would be happy at either- my suggestion to you is to book at the place that offers the better deal, or base it on the renovations taking place at the time you book. Hopefully we will have more info in October.

:)

I haven't started my trip report yet, but I do have some preview pictures (Grand Californian, Disneyland and California Adventure) in my current trip report (Hijinks), pages 87 and 88.

I'll try to get some of the Hawaii pictures posted in the next day or so.

Grrrr. 2 inconveniences today! That lovely tornado warning I woke up to, and what to do with no Market Basket. I think we are becoming Hannaford people.

Back on topic. Two good friends of ours are going to Paris in August ad are making a 2 day pilgrimage to EuroDisney, and they are staying at The Newport Bay Club, which, if you ever look it up, is a close cousin to our beloved YC. I looked up what rooms there are like and they recently underwent refurb. After the ho-hum, boring refurbs lately at GF, Poly, CR and BWI, may I submit this room design from Paris for when YC redecorates?
I LOVE this!

We have always been Hannaford people. Market Basket makes me break out in hives and I truly believe it may be the gateway to hell. :lmao:

I know this question has been asked somewhere in these pages. When they finish the refurb at the BC are they moving on to the YC?

Want to start planning for next years vacation- not sure if BC or YC, depends on the refurb.

Thanks I'll try to call tonight. Need to figure it out before I need to make my fp reservations next week! All this planning is making me crazy

Cute! I was also looking at the euro Disney hotels and I noticed that they all say 2 double beds, including the deluxe hotels. Is that right? They don't have any quad rooms? I've never been to Europe with the kids, but in all my (younger years of travel) in EU my recollection is that a quad room had 4 twin beds. Now, many hotels don't even offer quad rooms, but I'm surprised euro Disney has 2 doubles. Am I reading this right?

Wow I love that room! The ears on what is basically the current YC headboards, so cute! I loved my stay at YC last year and I am really hoping that BC lives up to that on my trip since YC décor is more my style. I'm doing a little happy dance that I will be arriving in 2 months :cheer2:
