I'm fretting about being dressed up if we arrive at 4. I'm an adult with no kids and don't want to be the only adult dressed up.

How has the costume situation been in the afternoon?

Every adult, except me and dh, on the ferry was dressed in costume yesterday afternoon when we were on it.

Does the wait for the 7 Dwarfs go down later in the night? Like after Wishes? Was thinking doing Jack & Sally, parade, Celebrate, Wishes, 7 Dwarfs, Villains and whatever else can fit in. Sound possible?

Can I order shirts online? We don't check in until Nov 1st, last night of the party) would like to have shirts to wear to the party but I'm afraid sizes will be sold out by then.

Yes you can. I have seen the Orange MNSSHP party shirts but it says 6-8 weeks for delivery so we couldn't order those. So we ordered the Halloween 2013 shirts, they are black. They are online at the disneystore parks site.

I've never heard of being able to get the party T-shirts (or any other party merchandise) except at the parties.

I know! It shocked me to see the email from Disney Store advertising it. We'd already just ordered the black 2013 Halloween ones as they had sent us a 30% off code. Felt better after I read the 6-8 weeks thing. We couldn't have got them in time.

Well, link didn't work. Search "party shirt" on the site and they will come up.

I gotta say that that doesn't make a lot of sense because the party shirts should be saved for people who are actually going to the party.

We went to MNSSHP last night for the first time. . And though I made several rookie mistakes, we did have the best view of the fireworks ever!! The Tomorrowland Terrace was available for seating. We were actually able to grab a table in front if The Plaza about 30 minutes before the projection show. Amazing!

Have others tried this? With Hallowishes does the Tomorrowland Terrace offer a great view?

Anyone know how much the shirts are - adult short sleeved and long sleeved? Im sending money with my SIL who is going to the 9/24 party to get one short sleeve for me and one long sleeve for DH. I don't want to short them- will $60 be enough? TIA!

Is this the area where they have the Wishes dessert party? It's open and you can just go up there?

Never mind just saw previous replies. I just read 20 pages of this thread and should have finished before asking.

What time does the projection show start?

9:15p.

DISzy, can you tell us about those mistakes.

What other mistakes have people thought they made during the party?

DW and I attended our first party last night. We skipped the trick or treating and character meets. There's only a couple of things that I'd do differently.

We watched the parade both times, the early parade near Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square and the second parade right at the entrance to Casey's. I wish we would have been a little closer to the entrance during the second parade. They had a dance party for the kids 20 minutes or so before the second parade that we couldn't quite see. It stretched along Main Street but ended at Casey's.

The biggest mistake we made was watching Celebrate the Magic from the area of the Partners Statue. Once it ended we were stuck in that spot for Hallowishes due to the crowds. The view was good, but it would be much better from farther away from the castle. You couldn't get the full effect of the panoramic fireworks from that close.

Its been said before, but If you are going to trick or treat and do character greets I'd recommend skipping the first parade (if your kids can make it late enough to see the second) People flooded to the exits after Hallowishes and it was no problem getting a front row seat for the second parade.

This may have been posted somewhere else if so sorry, just need a fast answer:

We are leaving for WDW tomorrow…we didn’t have the money until now to purchase tickets for MNSSHP, if I buy them online now, do they send them via email? If not how do we receive them.

You can opt for will call and pick them up once there. Or you can print them and bring the printouts with you.
