So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say a quick hello. I will finish the last day sometime this week when I have a break from the cam kitchen, and then we will move on with the next report, for anyone who is interested in following. I'm thinking the title of it might be Hakuna Kidani - What a Turtleful Phrase! That covers the AoA Lion King suite part, the Kidani ending, and all the turtle and non-turtle fun we had in between. What do you guys think? Sing it to yourselves a few times and see if you like it. Or maybe you'll just roll your eyes as you sing it and think about how crazy I am. ;)
Okay, after getting to know you the past few months I would have to fall in the category of :rolleyes2 and thinking you are :crazy2:............but that has nothing to do with your title, which I think is fantastic and very creative!!! :rotfl: Of course, now you've got that revised wording song stuck in my head!!! :sad2: :faint:

I hope church camp started out well and continues that way! What an energetic undertaking working in the kitchen like that! After the little I have read about your trip, at least you got some relaxing time to prepare for church camp. Well, except that whole getting in at 1:00am thing! :rotfl2:

Welcome back and I can't wait to join in when you get the new TR up and running! :cool1:

I think that's a great title and I'm looking forward to the report and am hoping to actually keep up with you this time.

Have a great time at camp!

I'm all caught up again and loved the pictures.

I'm not on here much these days as you know, so please message me on FB when you start the new TR...can't wait to read it.

You have so much energy to jump into church camp right after the trip! My husband and I spent the day in bed after getting home at 3am this morning. We were too tired to do anything else other than eat, of course, and he still felt as if he was in the car! He's going back to work tomorrow, and I'm grateful that I don't have anything planned until our church retreat the following week.

Looking forward to the next TR after this one! Love that Disney magic at home.

I think that is a great title. Hope all is well at church camp :). After our visits to Gettysburg, Charleston and Daytona...we make it to wdw tomorrow!

Whoohoo! I get a vicarious thrill when another Disney lover is going to WDW. Have a ball!

A little late, but....

WELCOME HOME! :flower3:

Love the TR title. :thumbsup2 It's crazy, but in a good way.

Have loads of fun at camp! :goodvibes

Please forgive me for not being able to do individual replies this week. There is just too, too much going on, but I am reading everything, and we do appreciate all the comments.

For this morning, before I dart out the door, I have time for this much.

After we said goodbye to Brandy, Sloan, Carson, and Parker, it looks like we went back to Everything Pop for some more window shopping.

Some around the resort pictures.

I have no idea what is coming next, because the pictures are a surprise to me as I pull them up. That's all I have time for this morning, but maybe during a break today I can do some more, or if not, I should be able to do some tomorrow morning. I always plan on Wednesdays to be a cold breakfast day, and I have a parent volunteer go and set out Poptarts, cereal, donuts, and fruit. That gives me one morning to not have to be up there early so I can do my last big SAM's run.

Have a great day, Distown!

I think Lady and the Tramp are my favorite POP icons, oh and also Mowgli and Baloo.

I am caught up and hope camp is going well.
I think .... I think things are beginning to normalize over here - Summer swim team is done and so are my duties as meet referee.

I hope when you get back we can do some July 6th planning for the Nashville meet-

Love the title of the new report.

Wow! That is quite a trip already, and NOW you are at Disney World!!

Hope camp is going well Memom!! We had planned to try a new resort next year, but I have been looking at Pop pictures the last few days and kinda want to go back there. We loved it there, except I would beg for a king bed this time. :rotfl:

Memom

I love that TR title, you are so clever, its now in my head to that tune :rotfl:

Have just got back from 3 weeks in DL. Had an absolute blast after 3 years of no Disney parks. The ABD tour we did was just brilliant - a disney fans dream really. I met some lovely people who listen to the DIS podcast and Pete and some of the gang were with us as it was a podcast exclusive trip. Wonderful but a once in a life time trip as was very expensive but well worth it.

Bittersweet leaving disney again not knowing if and when I will be back - but I have your reports to keep me up with it all - so please dont stop.

Glad you had a lovely time on your latest trip and look forward to more reporting.

Hope you are all well and get some rest when camp finishes

Take care
Toni

Okay, this camp session is over. The kitchen has been cleared and cleaned, the last bathing suit has been taken from the porch rail where many laid out to dry, and all is quiet for the deer, racoons, and skunks to enjoy again. The campers have said their sweet goodbyes. They are nestled all snug in their own beds now, and many will sleep until noon to make up for the sleep they missed over the past six days. Precious memories were made, as they are every year. New friendships were formed, and old friendships were strengthened. We had one baptism. It was a good and happy week in my life. :) My body may be screaming in pain, but my spirit keeps telling it to shut up. ;)

And now, after the trip and camp and not doing proper responses or picture updates, I think I can get back to normal for a little while.

I think Lady and the Tramp are my favorite POP icons, oh and also Mowgli and Baloo.

I finally got to stay in the Mowgli & Baloo section on the March trip. I only have one section left - Lady. I have stayed multiple times in some of them, but I've not gotten Lady yet.

I am caught up and hope camp is going well.

We are ready for July 6th! :dance3: When are you going to get to Nashville?

There's something about Pop that calls us 'home'. :goodvibes We love staying at all the resorts and having the new experiences. Kidani was awesome, and Art of Animation was nice. It was great to have all that extra space for the girls. I could probably fall in love with the AoA suites, if they had balconies. As the dynamics of the family change, we may change our options. Those multi-bedroom places are definitely great! ::yes::

I slept well last night. :)

How cool that you got to do an ABD trip! You will have to tell us about it. :woohoo:

And :cool1: for three weeks of Disney!!! My record is thirteen days, but I am all for breaking that record. :goodvibes

MeMom, I'm sad to say...I failed on the shopping pictures like you do. :rolleyes1

Your pictures are wonderful! I am very much enjoying reading your report. :thumbsup2

It's in my head too! I love it. It's perfect.

Thanks. We are on the last day of this one, so we'll start on the other one soon. I just wish I had the free time to be more consistent at updating. I will probably do okay through the rest of the summer, but then school will start and I will falter again.

Let's see what comes next with these pictures. I will be as surprised as you.

See, I am already surprised. I thought we had already told Brandy and family goodbye, but here they are at the pool. I guess we were just all at Luggage Services turning in suitcases in the earlier pictures.

Anyway, next there was pool time for all.
Yeah, that's it. ::yes:: ;)

It is rare for Jill and Brandy to get to be together to sit around and talk, so it made me happy to see them be able to have some cousin time.

Parker goes full speed pretty much all the time.

Did you notice the two little heads peeking out of the pool watching him?

Me saying my last goodbyes to all things Pop.

Two of my favorite girls!

Next time: a very nice DIS meet.

Welcome back from camp. It sounds like a great, albeit tiring, time! I'm sure those kids appreciate all your hard work, even if they don't realize how hard it is!!

Cute pics around the pool and Pop! Those girls' smiles just light up the place!

Don't feel bad about erratic updating - I'm right there with you! Life just interrupts our DIS time.

I am glad you had a good time at camp. Every time I see your pictures of Pop I get more excited to go back. Lexi loves to look at your pictures and she doesn't even know we are going back yet.

Welcome back from camp. :) Love seeing pictures of POP. I feel like that's my home away from home. Lord willing hubby and I will be going next year sometime to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Just the 2 of us. :cool1:
