Who's going in February?

Susie63. WE are flying from Iowa, still haven't purchased the tickets yet but am watching a couple of flights. Thanks for the info about the Grand California thread, I will have to look into that. I am just trying to see if we can find any good ticket deals anywhere. I called the Costco here and of course they don't carry any type of park tickets. Guess I will have to keep looking.

Our family is coming to disneyland
we are arriving at SNA on January 29th and leaving on Febuary 4th
staying at the desert inn and suites
very excited to spend 5 full days in the park

We are going February 6-13 staying in a condo in the Kaleidoscope condos complex behind Disneyland! This will be our second trip with our triplets who are now 5 and we're so so so excited!

DH (Alex) and I (Christine) are staying at the Grand Cal Villas from FEB 2 - 8 and can't wait. It has been several years since we've been to the left coast and our first stay at the DVC villas (fourth stay at GCH). We're so excited and counting the days (90 as of right now!).

Thanks Susie63! We appreciate all you're doing to put this thread together for us. It looks like there will be several of us at VGC in early Feb! We'll have to figure out how we'll know if we run into each other. It would be great to meet some DisBoards friends. Less than 90 days! I can't wait!!

Desert Inn & Suites no longer has regular rooms available Feb 9-16. What gives? We're supposed to have to park to ourselves!

The last time we went in Feb there was a medical convention at the Anaheim Convention center...but they all stayed at the DLH.I can't find anything else that would contribute to large crowds other than a monster truck show.
I am going to check some other hotels.

Booked our flights yesterday. We'll arrive on the 9th and leave on the 16th. Planning 4 park days. I'm stressed that we need 5, but we've never been to Cali before and DH really wants to go to the San Diego zoo one day and sight-see for another day.

I was planning to do DTD and Goofy's kitchen for arrival day, but now thinking maybe do a park for that partial day too? Flight arrives at LAX at 2:20.

Definitely plan to do a half day Saturday if you are feeling up to it after your flight. It is open late and you will get to see and do enough to make it worth it. In February you can see it all in 3 days if you had to, so 4 will be fine. We will be driving down from Sacramento and will get into town about the same time as you- we will be closing down DL that night

We'll be there Feb. 8th through 12th, staying at the Ramada Inn Maingate. DH, DS4 and I will be going with my aunt and uncle who haven't been in about 40 years. I love experiencing Disney through new eyes!

What do they have for crowd predictions? That is our last weekend.
I looked at a few hotels including the resort hotels and there were just a couple that were unavailable.
I am wondering if it would be for Mardi Gras since fat tuesday is the 12th

Had to change our November trip to February. We will be there 2/24/-2/28 staying at The Park Vue Inn, 2 rm suite. Hoping for Low crowds

We'll be there too. On just about the same days. Our park days are 2/23 (arriving midday) - 2/27, other area stuff 2/28, returning to OKC 3/1. Staying at PPH.

Am I allowed to post their numbers here or is that a no-no? I think some CA schools have off the Monday for Lincoln's birthday. Then the end of the week I'm guessing gets crowded b/c of the upcoming President's Day. Tues and Wed up a little, but still look good.

The 9th and 10th are 9s now. Sunday the 10th was supposed to be our first day. Wondering if I should stick to all week-days, but I'll have a problem with the kids if we get there and sight-see instead of going to the park the first day!

I've heard TouringPlans is unreliable for DL, but I don't have anything else to go by. Need to decide which 2 days to get a rental car for.

We have booked feb 7-14 at bwppi. I am starting to worry, the money isn't coming together as quickly as I expected, and I just realized we are within the 90 day mark! I have to start planning. Lol

Is Lincoln's birthday a holiday? I am so confused as to why the weekend should be a 9.Are the previous weekends all the same?My dd is enrolled in the Y.E.S. program on friday and saturday so we will not get an early start those days.

We don't even get President's Day off here. I didn't know about that holiday either until the DIS. Apparently some people get both off?
