We stopped over to the Poly today...we actually visited all of the monorail resorts in an effort to get my Photopass+ activated...

I can't believe it!! We were actually sitting watching the Electrical Parade and DD5 was cold!!! She wasn't the only one! I'm hoping it stays cool though!!

All in all, great first day! Got so much done. DD5 rode Splash Mountain and BTMRR both for the first time and LOVED them! I tell you...just watching her reactions on those rides makes me totally forget how much this dang trip cost. Memories are priceless.

I can't believe it!! We were actually sitting watching the Electrical Parade and DD5 was cold!!! She wasn't the only one! I'm hoping it stays cool though!!

All in all, great first day! Got so much done. DD5 rode Splash Mountain and BTMRR both for the first time and LOVED them! I tell you...just watching her reactions on those rides makes me totally forget how much this dang trip cost. Memories are priceless.

Yes, it's exactly like that: when the kiddo is crazy and I'm watching the clock and counting down the seconds 'til bedtime. I think I'll put them both to bed at the same time tonight.

Any advice? We've never stayed at GF, and we intend to try it at some point, just not sure about the construction. As I mentioned on the Poly thread, I can't believe I've been staying at Poly since the early 80s and when I finally decide to book CL there, I can't!!!

Pas, we really enjoy Clearwater as far as west coast Florida beaches go. And no, three resorts in three days is not too much!

I would do GF CL and BWI CL...but I am not a good one to ask...

My DH didn't even want to do 2 resorts....so 3 would make him

Are you working two jobs until you're released from your other job? I don't know how you do it all - you're incredible, but please take care of yourself. And, that goes for everyone else, too!

I did resign, then rescinded it after speaking with my manager. But I have officially overdone it this week. I am off tonight...but it will be a long day......next week will be better! Promise....and I will be getting some R&R very soon at.......OFC in a Honeymoon room You always worry about me.... and this is for you my friend

Just a quick update. Lily is running high fevers again. I couldn't take off from work so my mom is at the doctor with her and Daniel now.

We are here!!!!!! Absolutely ADORE our room!!! We have a corner room with perfect castle and monorail view!!!!!! We are gonna go unpack and then probably activate our AP's and Photopass card.

Good morning to all... or is it afternoon?

Pas: Good vibes to Bree for the cardiologist today. And no, not bad at all that you're ready for nap-time. You're a seriously hardworkin' momma. Makes me tired just reading about it.

Dani: How are the kiddos today? Hope today's looking up.

JC: Thanks for the hugs! Always very much appreciated.

GG: How'd the road trip go? No visits from Smokey the Bear, I hope?

Some ideas we're considering:

1) Standard Poly for three nights (find some non-parks activities to replace evening appetizers and book ADRs for TS breakfast each morning), BWI CL for three nights.

2) Standard Poly for two nights, GF CL for one, BWI CL for three.

3) Standard Poly for two nights, BWI CL for four. (But that's tough with some of the MK area ADRs we're planning.)

Any advice? We've never stayed at GF, and we intend to try it at some point, just not sure about the construction. As I mentioned on the Poly thread, I can't believe I've been staying at Poly since the early 80s and when I finally decide to book CL there, I can't!!!

Hi everyone!! Had a nice day out today, DH was off work and we took the kids to African Lion Safari (sort of a drive it yourself safari, and water park...) it was lots of fun! And DD3 made the height requirement there for the larger water slides! I am hoping this means she will make the height cutoff at WDW! I will measure her tomorrow!

Missoutandabout: You watching your DH's plane on radar was adorable. I hope your go-funny arm isn't too badly mangled. I had a Trainer train me into a messed up knee. It took about nine months to get mostly "better" and still goes funny now. I'm afraid to get it looked at further.

Thinking of you all. I've been doing some freelance art direction for the Audubon Society in addition to my other duties, so sorry I've missed so much. Feels so good to get back into my chosen profession when I do it, though. ...And time to start packing today for my Wyoming & Idaho trip Wednesday. Plans are for lots of hiking, picture taking, and good food, and quality time with my BFF (I hate that term but it fits). And hopefully no hooks in the eye when I learn to fly-fish..........OH, and I'm getting really excited now: tomorrow is my 30 DAY MARK to POLY.

Next time I talk to my FIL, I'll have to brag I know someone who works for the Audubon Society -- he's a seriously serious, big-time twitcher. I will refrain from using the term "crazy"

Yes, yes, YES! Love this. Can your DD5 talk to mine? We need a little peer pressure for Splash Mountain methinks. (Mine rode her first "big girl" rollercoaster (BTMRR) last year twice; she got upset when we couldn't walk right back on after the second ride. My "waiting in lines" and "Fast Pass" explanation didn't go over so well. She said she wanted to go on Space Mountain this year but no mention of Splash Mountain. Hmmm. )

We didn't do much terribly exciting this weekend. Had a bit of bubbly to celebrate hubby being back, grilled some eats, not much else. I'm scheduled for an EMG on my arm next week. I hope I don't inadvertently punch myself or anyone else when they shock me.

I've been thinking about what the doctor said -- that surgery might be the best solution. It's quite standard thing -- a carpal tunnel release -- snip, snip of the ligament which is making my arm and hand go wonky. Wonder if you're allowed to swim after the surgery? If not, it'll just have to wait until after Disney. Gotta have our priorities, right?
