I haven't watched the whole season, but based just on the last couple of nights I think the right person won.

Katherine had great choreography, but I think Donald was the better dancer.

Plus Mark and Cheryl both annoy me - I always have a hard time voting for their stars.

I think they had been underscoring Donald all season. I'm so glad he won and really glad that a new professional won.

Mark has won twice, so has Cheryl, I wonder if that worked against them? They were all good so maybe that was the deciding factor. Although I do agree that William's freestyle was a miss. I think Donald's freestyle may take the top spot from Cheryl and Drew.

Absolutely agree that Donald's scores were often unfair (compared to the others) and Yay for a new pro dancer winning!! (Tristan - are you next? )

I am so stunned. If Katherine wins then this thing is rigged seriously.

I think people (his fans) figured Willaim had in it the bag and stoppd voting for him.

I am going to call BS on Katherine finishing 2nd. Dial Idol has been spot on with their stats of who was getting voted for. The only way for her to have over come the HUGE difference in the phone votes, is if the enitre population of Wales had voted on line, which I highly doubt happened. Their dance scores were too close to make a difference.

William had 77.718

Donald had 75.881

Katherine had 46.402

The guys had a 30 point lead on her in CALL IN votes. Sorry, I know too many people that the only way they vote is by phone. They don't text or online vote.

I was rooting for Donald, but either him or William winning was all good by me.

It was really sweet to see Donalds wife give Peta a hug there at the end. And the baby crying from all the whoopla. Awwww. Donald looked so cute holding her.

I was glad to see the outcome because D&P so deserved it. I agree - they have been being underscored the entire season.

Did anyone else think Kim intentionally messed up the lift during Jaleel's performance? She had a snarky smile on her face at the end ... and what better way to really bring him down a notch than making it seem like he can't lift tiny little her? Only a pro could make it look that way so easily ...

As a side note, Brooke's stylist must have read my comments from yesterday because she actually looked halfway decent last night.

Now just to wait for the Fall season with all-stars. I personally would like to see Joey Lawrence return.

I hadn't watched much of season but did last week and this week. So glad he won. Glad Derek and Mark didn't win...detest Derek and the shirtless dancing!
