no kidding! :confused3 I think I had 978 before lunch :eek:

Not an "on" day for me. It was "on" most of the day. Until I got home from that dreaded "jury duty part 1". Then it was multiple glasses of wine (ok 3. but they were small), and followed up by chicken parm @ our fav local pizza joint. (on the up side I drank water & only ate 3 bites of the white pasta. That must count for something, right?)

Calories: On (about 835 so far, have a snack left)
Water: 32 down, 32 to go
Exercise, nothing so far but going to Wii before next snack.

Goals for tomorrow:
Calories: Same, plus resisting Pampered Chef party food tomorrow
Water: 64 oz
Exercise, gym.



Dinner tonight was chicken sausage pasta. 1 serving Smart Taste thin spaghetti, 1 cut up habanero and monterey jack chicken sausage, 1 chopped zucchini, 3 chopped mushrooms, 1 chopped onion. Sauce was 1 tbsp fat free half and half, 1 tbsp parm cheese, 1 tbsp fat free promise spread, and some water. Total calories, ~350.

Just want to address this first. I fins this SO unbelievable, Lisa! OMG, I think of you as SO strong! Seriously, I don't know ANYONE who is strong enough to own their sh*t like you do. And so honest about everything. You are ALWAYS who you are. You don't hide it. Like, that takes massive strength. Massive.

It's really doable, Cathie. Most eating plans suggest 1200-ish cals per day. So to be at around a thousand with a few hours left in the day is pretty on target. Lots of folks use a range (1200 - 1500) to allow for some slush and so you don't have to be quite so rigid with your counting.

Even Weight Watchers is about that. They say to figure about 50-ish calories per point. So if you get 25 points/day (oh how I wish! I only get 19!), that puts you at 1250-ish calories.

The trick is to figure out the foods that are really filling and yet low in calories. Kat often posts her food--look at it her lists when she posts--she is the MASTER at lots of food for little caloric buck.

--Goals for today were all met! Tracked and stayed within range, water was consumed, and I went for a run. It was not what I initially set out to do, though. I wanted to do my long run today, but ended up doing HILL WORK instead. OMG, ouch. But it needed to be done.

--Leave enough points for alcohol in the evening and MEASURE IT.
--Long run

Kat - loving your chicken sausage pasta. I would sub shirataki though to help out the carb department.

I, on the other hand, think I ate too much. My stomach hurts. :sick: Need to have some water and go to bed. (look at me go on a Friday night! Party ANIMAL! :laughing:). Tomorrow is another early day for me - Nate has to be at school at 8:00am for a robotics competition, so I'm off to the gym for the run I didn't get today.

OH - and how could I forget! My new running shoes arrived yesterday. Gonna give them a whirl tomorrow on a short-ish run :woohoo:

Track - this time reduce net carbs (had portion of potato today). I wish sparkpeople had an app for my Droid because it calculates fiber.

Snack tonight:

Cream of Wheat Whole Grain Maple Brown Sugar Hot Cereal (it has 6g protein and 7g fiber). I made it with water and added 2T SF Chocolate Syrup. About 160 calories and it is sooo yummy!
