Girls Only Disneyland Trip!! Old thread. New link in first post

Ok, I had a small disaster with my Tink shirt transfer, and a huge one on my Tote bag. I am far from crafty so the whole iron on thing just wasn't something I should have done. The word DIS is all messed up, and the wings are off. But at this point in the game, I am going with it. I sparkled it up, and will wear my loopy looking shirt.

I was doing a transfer onto my tote bag, and it was a total disaster. I screwed up the paper, and couldn't get the transfer to work out. It got all bunchy and wouldn't stick. I have no clue what I did wrong. So I will probably have to run out and get a new tote. UGH! Not what I want to be doing. I have so much on my plate for the next few days that I don't want to add this too.

I changed my picture. I picked the one of Bree and I enjoying our Lapu-Lapu's at Kona Cafe last month. It's in preparation for our cocktails on Thursday night.

While running errands and buying last minute things for the trip we purchased a bottle of Absolute Raspberry. It's coming to the pizza party. Will there be Sprite there or do I need to bring some? And will be have any fresh limes? It is a really good drink and of course we will share with anyone who would like one.

I also added the cute little green men in my signature for DD. Her 2 year career at DL (which she is SO OVER and doesn't even miss ) started at Buzz and she absolutely loves the little green men, so....there you are!

There will be Sprite or another lemon lime carbonated beverage. But I don't think there will be limes. Sorry.

Stacie, I am sorry about your shirt.

I wouldn't worry about the tote. It will be fine. I didn't even get one. DD did - she saw one she really liked and I added a few touches and it is really cool! I hope whoever gets it likes it. Of course we all have a different opinion of what is cool, so it's all subjective. Don't stress, just bring it.

Add one more for Aladdin! I've never seen it and it's supposed to be great. Wonderful idea.

BTW - when I left the Beach Club at WDW a few weeks ago, the lady handling our bags said our large one was 5 lb over the 50 lb weight limit. We had to take out a few things and move them to another bag.

I hate when this happens at the airport (yes, I have done this on the floor of LAX - exposing my undies to the world!)

So now I am staying overnight Thursday (rooming one night with Tracey). I'm going on the VIP tour Friday and then probably braving the rush hour traffic as all your Carnation dinners look fully booked. Rain is predicted for Friday but you never know, that could change. And it does keep attendance down.

So I'm in for two of the days now!

So, how is it that I spent the entire weekend running errands, making lists and doing laundry, and yet I am still nowhere near ready to go on this trip???

Luckily, even though we don't officially earn comp time for working beyond the normal 40 hours a week, my supervisor asked me when I was going to take a day off to make up for the St. Louis trip and all the other extra hours that I have worked lately. Since I had already requested the three days off for the trip months ago, I am taking tomorrow off--mostly. I have one meeting that I really need to be at that is taking place at 11 am, but otherwise I am free and clear all day tomorrow to finish up my errands, get a much needed pedicure and pack all of my newly cleaned clothes. Then it will be 2 very busy/long days in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday, but that will be good as busy days tend to go by faster than ones without many meetings. And, finally a few minutes before 7 on Thursday morning I will be heading off to the Starbucks where I am meeting Beth and Amy for the big drive through the Mojave! Yay for Disneyland and yay for Girls Only Trips!!!

I just noticed that there is a 4:15 showing on Thursday of Aladdin. I LOVE that show.

So, I was thinking of heading over there after eating lunch at the Golden Horseshoe. The Billy show is at 2:35. Anyone know how long that runs? Think I'll make it over to Aladdin by 4:15? And if so, anyone else want to join me??

Then once that's over, I'll probably just walk back to the hotel to freshen up (maybe rest? unpack?) for the pizza party at 7:30. I will have been up since 5 a.m. and I have a feeling it's going to be a long, fun night!!

I have never seen the aladdin show!! I want to tag along! Honestly, I am thinking I will join you at the Billy show instead of the princess lunch. The more I think about it, I'd like to wait until I can take my princess emma there so it will be the first time for both of us. And I LOVE the billy's!!

Sooooo.....does anyone want my seat at the princess lunch??

Don't know if it would work, but I made one for my friend Terri, and she's not going, so I have an extra. It is a size medium, lycra blend 3/4 length sleeve, slight V neck, and the tink turned out okay too. Just let me know and it is yours.

Hey Donna, my friend Terri was on the Carnation List, so you can have her spot. The VIP gals also have reservations or whatever you call them for Aladdin and also for Fantasmic, so you might want to stay over on Friday too I'm sure you can jump into the DVC tour if you want to.

Also, she had a spot at the Sat. morning breakfast too. Let me Beth know if you want to stay take part, and if not she can open those spots up. I think you should have first dibs though, since our replacing Terri in two other ways that cost money
