I am on port side. I am not uprising because I know I can visit someone on the other side. I was told by two different people who did go through The PC before that the only side is starboard. I am only believing what I was told.

Are you considering that the WB went through the canal the other way??
I'm not sure, but I also don't think the locks are one way on each side. Really, I think we could end up going throught either the right or left lock as we are traveling.

I'm one of the people she is referring to and I was on the Eastbound PC cruise last time. The photographers and people from Panama were all on the starboard side.

Todd I think we used UYR59 (travelocity preferred member). A very kind person posted it here (but I can't remember who) & it gave us $5.00 off. We booked a private sedan because it was only a bit more than a shared van & it came to $87.32 including gratuity for 4 of us from LGB to DLH.

I love that one!!

We live fairly close to a main road through our town and we hear a good amount of sirens. The girls and I always say "God Bless the person who needs help". Sounds like we need to add "and the person going to help them".
Since my lifes goal was to be Angie Dickinson, I always support The Blue.

The Police Dept is about a mile & half down the road from me, a Fire Station is just a few blocks from me and a Hospital is a half mile from my house (they are all on the same road). And we say almost the same prayer when we hear a siren (we just add the Sign of the Cross ). I know I will now add in the *person helping* also!

Just thought that I would post some DCL info in case anyone else is curious.


Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab will have separate
talent shows. Those 8-10 years of age will have their show in Rockin Bar D.

Once you are on the ship, sign-ups for the show can be made at the
Disney's Oceaneer Lab desk.

There will also be a family talent show at the end of the cruise.

The Guest talent show will be taking place in the Rockin' Bar D lounge
at 7:30pm on the last night. The rehearsal will most likely be the sea
day before in the afternoon. Please check your Personal Navigator for
updates.

So what about the kids in the Quest?

I'm not entirely sure DCL knew what it was getting into when it decided on the new age groups.

Side rant: MIL keeps planning these "family vacations" without consulting anyone else's schedule & then gets upset when not everyone can make it. Ex. we were all supposed to be in the cabin they rented in southern Ohio last week...problem is BIL & I both had to work, DH could only take 2 days and SIL is 6 months pregnant and not keen on bunk-bed sleeping for a week. SOOOO, MIL announced this weekend that she's not planning any more family trips, she's just going to come along on our vacations from now on... I know she means it because she invited herself on our Hawaii vacation last year. Sorry, I'm an evil DIL, vent over.

I would keep quiet about any future plans and let her know about it by sending her a post card from where you were ... but not until the last day so that she doesn't track you down and just show up.

Hi Pete! Pete and I were just chatting about you last night - remembering our meet last year.

I haven't started packing - yet - but I've got tons and tons of lists made up!

While we were watching the All star game last night we were reminiscing. We had a good time that day.

Plenty of time for panic mode.....

I have a just in case this happens bag packed. As I get older the bag gets larger. I am even carrying ankle and knee braces Just in case!!

That is great!!! I asked my TA before I booked if she would match the Dreams OBC and she never really answered. She is kind of the family TA so I know my parents were more comfortable with her so I might miss out.
I was at Wal Mart Supercenter last Sunday after church and the Dropps just jumped out at me. I got a packet of 20 for around $5.00 so I should be set. also liked the fact that they work in me "He" washing machine.

My TA told me she would match -- she is a friend and knows I'm on the Disboards...... But, that was when I knew what the OBC was for the Cat 4..... Are Dreams OBCs figured by Cat or vacation cost? When we took the Cat 3 upgrade it doubled our cost from the Cat 4 (which was booked opening day!).

Haven't slept well in about a week. Go to bed at about 2:00 and am up by sunrise. THAT'S why I want to go to Vegas....I always get tired and sleep well there. At least I hope so.

I get bouts of insomnia that last for a few days...I had company last night..Laura and I emailed back and forth until 3 ..I finally made it to bed about 3:30

There is a "Pirate's Bus" that will be goiing from the DL hotels to the port.
It will cost between $10.50-$11. pp and will make one short stop at a supermarket for refreshments (including wine & spirits).
