LadyRob,

Which pattern did you use for your minnie tulle skirt? Do you remember what page it was on? I am going nuts trying to find it again lol.

I bought everything to do a pirate version.

I used the layered tulle twirl skirt instructions from YCMT. I just left off the ruffles. It's posted on page 160.

Those are very cute. Simple enough to wear anywhere but still adorable!
That's the thing, we live here in central FL, so we go to the parks a LOT. And, we're such a Disney family, that the girls love to wear anything Disney ALL the time!

I know what you mean!

I would love one of the toile dresses for my dd.

I already know I'm going to get blasted, so here goes. You know, I really used to enjoy this thread but I don't any longer. It seems people are very rude and judgemental. It was so nice comparing photos and tips, and it seems that one person came along and now I don't care to read the posts anymore. There have been photos on this thread of awful outfits, children with disabilities, and many other things. We have all been kind to each other, and treated each other with respect, until recently. What is going on, you guys? Who really cares if this poor child has something on her face? Gosh, am I the only one, who is more turned off by the adult conversation on this board, than going looking for some poor little girl with something on her face.

Well Said Castle creations, I was about to "nose" in and say the same thing! By the way. I am checking every day to see you post this Epcot outfit with that fabulous fabric. Your outfits are some of my favorites on this thread. So, keep them coming, so I can shamelessly copy;)

Okay, this thread has pulled me in! lol I've been peeking every so often at the awesome clothes you all are making, and my dd and I went to Wal-Mart this weekend and picked some fabrics to attempt to make her some things. She picked tiger fabric for me to do a Mickey head on a plain tshirt. Then she got the new pink/black Mickey, matching black w/ pink dots, purple Tink, and turquoise Little Mermaid fabric. We also got glue on bling to do some projects with, but we just tried using it and i'm going to go back for the iron on kind! lol I'm drying the fabric now and we'll see if we can come up with what type of outfits to make. She is older (8), so she's kind of hard to make outfits for. She did see a few on here she likes though.

I'm pretty sure I saw the purple toile princess fabric at Walmart not too long ago. I love those dresses!!

Some of you designers should start consulting ;)

I was out all day yesterday and now I see there was 8 pages of posts from yesterday morning until now.

No "blasting" from me! I have enjoyed the outfits and creative suggestions on this board. I missed the posts about children with disabilities-(thankfully). As a proud parent of a child with a "disability", I think I will spend my time elsewhere. If this thread get back to talking about sewing for our wonderful children could someone please let me know?

Thanks

Okay ladies, here is the next item in my Knock-Off Boutique. :rolleyes1 The original was posted by obsessedwiththemouse. I have to give a big thanks to everyone for sharing their ideas and pictures. I'm not very good at coming up with my own designs but that is my next challenge. I plan to brainstorm tomorrow while I tackle that 12 hour shift.

The Minnie ears look a little warped in the picture but that's just how the dress is hanging. I wish I could post pics of DD in the outfit but I've promised DH I would not post pics of the kids anymore.

Here are pics of one outfit that has been my most popular for the little ladies.

She's worn it out a lot and my mom teases that she's my best advertising. We went to a summer solstice fair yesterday and I gave my info out nonstop.

I've done bed size toddler quilts in boys & girls themes with NBC as well.

I like this! I must admit, I haven't seen the movie but this is so cute and girly. Great work and I promise I won't copy it. :rolleyes1

I truly don't remember any discussion about children with disabilities and I've read the whole thread. Can someone clue me in???

I don't really know anyone here, but I also don't believe that anyone here would make fun of a child, disabled or not.
