We went to PA one year we noticed all the dead deer on the roads--wow! those suckers would never be hanging around for long up here!

Hey, I'm from Kansas too and without a doubt our Kansas Beef (STEAKS, big juicy ones) are the best. Of course I would be more than happy to take a trip and test all of the other state specialties. I kind of lean toward those in Louisiana too. But lets put your shrimp and jambalaya as a side to my steak! And if anybody is from Maine and they would like to share a bit of Lobster I will share a bit of Steak and we can have the BEST surf and turf!

Totally agree, i live in Tonawanda too... I just remember last year, my dh, eating the pizza in disney and getting so upset that it doesn't taste like home. Or the fact the water tastes awful down in that area! LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!

I am originally from Buffalo, and would you believe that I get pizza shipped in from Bocce? Pizza is super expensive here, so it costs about the same to have a few half baked party pizzas shipped and we freeze the leftovers. Thank God we have a decent wing place here; I was shocked, but it does compare favorably to real Buffalo wings.

Salmon from the Northwest anyone?

Whenever our 'big wigs' at work fly in on the corporate jet for the day, they always stop my the meat market and bring good ole' Nebraska steaks home to NJ.

And they bring us NY bagels

I am FROM New Jersey....and I don't think anyone can top their food, we've got it all!!! Pizza, bagels, the best breads and deli sandwiches, corn, tomatoes, produce and seafood!!!!

But I LIVE in Ohio and sorry, but Fried Bologna just doesn't do it for me!

Well, I'm from Minnesota. You can take any food you could possibly think of....and we'll put it on a stick. And, as if by magic, the food becomes the best damn food you'll ever eat on a stick!!!!

From Jersey here....nothing beats any eggs in a real diner or a porkroll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll from any deli. Make sure the porkroll is cut really thin and fried to a nice crisp. You can have a months worth of cholersterol by 9am!!!
