Supersize Me is on CBC right now (Canadian channel) and it's disgusting me. Honestly, I did not want to watch a fat guy puke up a big mac, which for some reason was orange with no other color at all (how is that possible?).
I'm emetophobic. Which basically means, I'm afraid of puke in every form.
I cannot watch one episode of Little People, Big World because he vomits and it's not fake. I can stand make vomit sounds, but real retching and the view of it makes me want to cry. My worst nightmare is to be puked on.
I have not been sick since I was six or seven, which means I haven't thrown up for seven or eight years. The world stops for me when I get a stomach ache. It's all I can think about, I can't ignore it and have fun. I'm preoccupied with trying to feel better. I felt sick most of the time when I was in Disney last. We stayed at a pool home for a week before Disney, and I only went swimming twice because I felt sick.
If someone in my house is sick, I lock myself in my room and turn music up really loud. I refuse to use that bathroom for days, and ignore that person for a few hours. If someone says they feel sick, I'll back away.
On Christmas, my grandmother was ill (she vomits constantly because she has congestive heart failure) and I couldn't stand it. I was trying to keep myself occupied by watching the Disney Parade, but it still scared me. I wanted to just run outside and not go back for a few hours.
This whole thing takes over my life, the fear of being sick and the fear of other people being sick. I don't think I've gone a day of my life without fearing it, without thinking about it, without feeling sick..

Soo..
- When was the last time you were sick?
- Can you handle being with someone who is being sick? (like being with them, holding their hair back, telling them they'll be okay?

The last time I was sick was last January. I was throwing up, and I had a 101 degree fever.

I can't be with someone who's sick, makes me uncomfortable.

I've seen it twice. Its actually pretty interesting.

I was sick about a month ago.

I can deal with pretty much any illness.

It's interesting, but some of it is just disturbing.

I haven't been sick like, vomiting sick since 2nd grade; six years ago. Once or twice a year I'll get a sore throat. I don't remember the last time that happened. On the first day of the new season; usually in March, the first day its like, 60 degrees or above, I'm home with the worst headache.

I'm also emitophobic. I can't stand even the fake noises in movies.

Yuck, we had to watch that movie in health... :crazy2:

The last time I've been sick like as in throwing up was when my grandma died a few years ago. This lady brought over lasagna, and I threw up from it.

The last time I've been like, ill is right now because I have a really bad cough, lol.

I was in second grade as well, perhaps first.
When I was little, I used to puke a lot, mostly on car trips to my grandparents. I used to cry when I was really young when my parents told me I was going to see my grandparents. Because I knew I'd get car sick and I'd feel awful for hours.

I usually have to eat in a car to prevent car sickness. Strange, much.

Last time I threw up it was maybe 3 weeks ago, but before then the last time was when I was maybe 10?
When I was in elemetary school I was always the one voluntering to take/walk people down to the nurse's office, so I don't mind at all.

I was just sick. And now, ive been coughing for 4 minutes straight -_-

Im have Aichmophobia or Belonephobia. Fear of needles..:)

Its actually quite disturbing when i see one. I go all tense. If i see soemthing sharp, my eyes close, and it takes a while for them to open.

What fun in the winter with icicles. -_-

I had to watch that too. I'm emitophobic too. I never get sick like that anymore, it's been like six or seven years. I always get fevers though, especially this time of year. I had two fevers that were two weeks apart. :(

I worship that movie. Doesn't it just make you never want to eat McDonalds again? :)

I used to have an allergy to milk (god, I had a lot of allergies as a kid) that made me throw up every night in my sleep. It wasn't even like real puke though, it was like orange and clear and had little... okay for the sake of Babyjustrun I won't go into any more detail.

I haven't thrown up in about a year, and I'm so glad. I hate it because you can't breathe for a few seconds and your throat burns afterwards; it smells really awful too. I can't stand the sound of people puking, the sight is okay but the horrible burp and then liquid... it just makes me want to toss my cookies too.

I didn't eat McDonald's for a year after I saw that movie. Somehow I ended up eating it again though.

Last time I was sick was this past Summer and my sister rode me in her dad's Mustang. It was a hot day, and I didn't drink anything. So, before we went on the highway my sister's fiance came out of Walgreens and gave him, my sister, and I some chocolate. After the ride in the Mustang, my sister drove us to her dad's house to visit and give back the Mustang. I felt dizzy, and I said "Debbie, I feel dizzy." Debbie said "Okay, well we better getting going before Allison throws up." Right when we we're in the living room I was starting to throw up. I ran back into the kitchen, but it didn't help. Debbie's dad cleaned up the mess. We went home, and I slept.

I advise you to watch it again; it always turns me right off. I haven't had McDonalds in over two years- partly because the only thing that I can have there is apple juice and partly because I know how artery-clogging that stuff is.

I can deal with description. I cannot visualise words. When I was a kid, my friend would describe things and it never bothered me once.

Yeah, when I was little, I'd get carsick because I'd try to burp a million times and then I'd vomit. I was a silent puker, I'd just be sitting there and BLAH! it was on my lap and I was crying.

I hate it when people cough until they vomit. My 2nd grade teacher did that, and my grandmother does that. I hate it. I know it's hard to stop coughing, but TRY.

I can always hear my mother vomit cos it's like a .. it's loud. I have to put music or really loud or hide in the basement with the tv on.

I can't remember the last time I got sick; usually when I get sick, I get really sick.

And I can be around almost any illness just depends.
