I haven't heard of that before, nor have I seen it on iTunes, and I was just buying stuff the past couple of days...:confused3

might be able to save Youtube videos to your computer and import them. Not sure, seeng as I have A) Never tried to save a Youtube video and B ) Never tried to import a video to my iTunes

I just looked at itunes.com && it said "Itunes Meets Youtube coming in June" or something like that =D

sorrry for taking up this space for this thread I should have looked at itunes.com first.. =/:guilty:

But that will be cool itunes and youtube together. my 2 fav. entertainment sources.

ahh finally they are doing that.
It's such a pain to save youtube videos and then convert them.

EDIT:

With Apple TV, you can watch theatrical trailers from Apple.com on your TV. And soon, you’ll be able to browse and watch YouTube videos on the big screen, too. Coming in June, you can browse and watch thousands of free YouTube videos streaming directly from the Internet. Just sit back and enjoy the show.

It won't be on Ipods if I understad correctly. It will only be used for Apple TV.

I guess I'll have to continune saving youtube videos and converting them.

How do you save a youtube video?

Yeah id like to know this too. I think i found a website once, where you enter the URL of the video and save it but I cant remember where I got it. Any info on this would be great! :thumbsup2

There are two ways to download them.

this way is probably easier for most people.

you will need Firefox for it though.
download the extension VideoDownloader
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390

then once you have the video saved you will need to convert the file extension .flv to .wmv
Do that by using Riva which you can download here:
http://www.download.com/Riva-FLV-Encoder/3000-2140-10320097.html

Another way which I find easier is to use a website.
copy the link of the video into this website
http://keepvid.com/

then right click the link it will provide and click save target as
save the video as a .flv

then use Riva to convert the .flv.

hope that works if not I'll attempt the clarify it. :)

great thanks :D

Rawr. I just un-installed Firefox a few days ago. :rotfl:

Thanks so much for the directions. I'm off to download Firefox and save some videos!

ok, I got everything downloaded and all, but when I go to convert the saved video on Riva, its not there. I click browse on the input video thing, and its not there... I saved it using the keepvid.com place...

that is what i did and it didn't show up either... and i really want to put a funny pirates of the caribbean video on my iPod...

hmmm.
It probably saved in some weird folder
try resaving it to the desktop so it will be easier the find.
