Your Opinions or experiences of taking a 3y/o and DDP?

We are looking at Oct/Dec ressies, either way the DD is turning 3 in June so we'll either have to do DDP for all 3 of us (hate it b/c she barely eats as we all know), but OOP seems pretty exp too since we love taking her to character meals

Anyone have similar stories or advice on what worked well or what went wrong for them on either of those?

Thanks All!:wizard::wizard:

Do the math - you intend to take your child to character meals, and you'd have to pay for those anyway. If all her TS credits are spent on character meals, then her CS and snack are basically free (assuming you are using the basic dining plan). If she doesn't eat the snacks or the CS, you're likely still not technically paying for them if you have used her TS credits wisely.

You can use her snack credits to get snacks for yourselves, or finish off the CS child's meal if she won't eat it (assuming you're so inclined). The moneysaving implications in this situation are likely all going to be dependent on how the adults use their credits, not whether the child eats.

Thanks TDC for the matter of fact input and wise feedback. If anyone also has similar feedback thats welcome too

If you were already planning quite a few TS meals (especially character meals) then I still think it works out good for you.

The character meals cover the DDP for the children. Then you also get CS (approx. $5) and a snack credit (up to $4). If you were to do a TS child's meal (no characters) they cost about $6.

People usually find that it is a good deal to have the DDP when they have children, once the children become adults (10 and up) then it isn't such a great deal.

If you prefer to share your CS meal with your daughter, then you could use her CS meal for her breakfast-unless you are doing a TS breakfast.
