Very nice Bob. I have the 70-200 f2.8. How do you like the 1.4x teleconverter? I was thinking about getting the 2x.
Very nice, but I am calling you one something... it was not full until tonight! That means you must go out and take more tonight.
Here is a little nerd trivia for all of you. What moon phase shows the most detail?

It depends on where you are when you take the picture. A full moon has very flat lighting when shot from earth.

Ok, Bob you have thrown down the gauntlet. As soon as the moon comes back out, it is supposed to rain here for the next day or so, I will take the Nikon 70-200 with a 1.4 and see what I get! Maybe we should put the cameras side by side and have a shoot off!!!!
Btw, for nerdiness sake I have a program (Ephemeris) on my PDA that shows where the moon will be at any given time. Along with my GPS and digital level I can pretty much pinpoint a photo location ahead of time.
