We don't go to WDW until March but I like to write things down as I think of them. I make a list each time I go out of town, and this year I want to have a permanent one so I don't go through this each time. Does anyone have their list that you would like to share? Thanks a bunch.:)

...a few Rubbermaid storage boxes! You can pack in these for the trip down (if you are driving...), and then keep them in your car to keep your purchases/souvenirs in. I always felt more comfortable with these in the back seat than bags that people can see!

...your own blanket/comforter. It's more "homey" and you won't worry so much about how many thousands of people have been sitting on the blanket on the top of your bed!!!

Have fun packing!

I saw a great one online once... it had checkboxes and calculated how many of each item based on the length of your stay, I think may have been an exel file... I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE FOR THE LIFE OF ME !!!!
Did anyone see it, and use there brain to bookmark it? My brain was on vacation already !!1

I took all the packing advice I could get from these boards and others for our trip earlier this month, and I will say that I totally over-packed. I didn't use, or need, half the stuff I packed, and I found that anything I could have possibly needed I could have obtained at Disney. Next time, I'll go with a lot less - just the basics and not so many clothes.

Stuff to take with you 'cause it is much cheaper to buy at home and or you'll need it.
*Cork screw to open wine. (You can buy wine all over the resorts and in the various countries at Epcot.)
* Film, Camera Batteries, Video gear, charger, cords, tapes.
* Extension cord with multi plug end for all your camcorder and other electronic junk.
* Foot care stuff, powder, band aids, good socks, etc...
* Rain Poncho (Hint at the first drop of rain Disney will sell thousands of yellow ones with Mickey on the back. If you pack some other color it will be much to spot your family.)
* Butt or Back pack.
* Packaged snacks, granola bars, Kudos, nuts, crackers etc. Take enough to carry two or three per person per day, don't forget those travel days.
* Autograph books.
* Big sharpies.
* Stamps and addresses for post cards.
* Stroller, If flying use it in airport and check it at the gate.
* Small soft cooler for stroller, Soft cooler for room (if not staying at DVC renting a refrigerator is expensive.)
* Packaged moist towels like handy wipes.
* Assorted sizes of zip lock bags
* Bug spray
* Lib Balm
* Sun lotion
* Hat
* Salt, pepper spices for DVC kitchen
* Water bottle straps
* Pins & Lanyards
* Guest of Honor Name Tagd
* CD player and small speakers
* Battery chargers
* FRS two way radios
* Pins Pins Pins

I created my own excel spreadsheet with check boxes for items. If anyone is interested - just PM me with your email and I will send you a copy.
