First stab in the dark word. Y w w Y w. Hmmm. Gonna have to think whether to use that second stab in the dark word or not here.

Second guess. w Y Y w w. Did not use it. Maybe I should have. This is going to be tough.

Third guess. Not in the data base? They must consider it a curse word.

Third guess again. w G G G G

Fourth guess got it.

I just noticed. If you don't play it for a day your streak breaks.

My second stab in the dark word would have yielded nothing. But... It would have probably put me on the right track faster. It would have also eliminated a letter the first one could have been.
It didn't matter because I never guessed that possibility. Looks like lady luck was with me. Sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good.

Me Too! Had 4 letters by second try . Too many choices for first letter.

Streak broken, too many options.

I had enough guesses left that I could put together a throw-away guess with four of the candidate letters. Didn't hit any of them but it narrowed down my choices enough that I got lucky with the next guess.

Start playing this week. It’s become my I don’t wanna get out of bed yet, let’s stall for 10 minute thing in the morning.

I can’t describe the feeling of joy that I had earlier this week when my first word for some odd reason I decided to enter the word month. Got it in one try.

it seems like I get most of them in four tries.

I had been solving them in 3, occasionally 4, and once in a while on the second try. Lately, 4 or more is the norm. Maybe the tide will turn again, I hope.

I've just updated it, and technically, the start word I'm using is still at the top of my list. But it just hasn't felt like that great a word lately. The gap between it and the next word, and the order of other words it tests, have both changed a lot.

It’s not about how quickly you can guess the word for me. It’s about ruling out the most possibilities before I save my behind on guess 6.

I usually start with a word that has two vowels. Then I will try to eliminate the other vowels. I always mix up my start word because it doesn't seem to matter what I use.
