CAT 11A $3969 + $410.48 (taxes) = Total $4379.48 (OBB applied)
I'm so darn excited!!!!
I just booked this today as well! But we booked today as we're only silver. Not sure if the price is the same as it was yesterday, but our pricing was-
2A2C (10 & 10) Cat 11B $3880.80 + $410.48 (taxes) = Total $4291.28 with OBB applied. No transfers or insurance.
For some reason when I booked onboard they added the gratuities to the total bill. When I looked up the bill on my Castaway Club account it looks like it is added to the per person # but when you see the breakdown there is a separate line item for prepaid gratuities. So when I moved the cruise the prepaid gratuities stayed with it. I could ask my TA to have them removed but I just figure I'll go ahead and pay them. So the price that was quoted to me from my TA (which equaled the same total for the same cruise as IrenicMom) included gratuities. So I was just trying to clarify (especially since I hadn't gotten my confirmation and I was afraid it would be higher than I expected for a minute)
We're silver as well so my TA booked it first thing this morning. My children will be 10 and 7 on the cruise. PM me if you want to meet up or if we can put our heads together and figure out excursions, transportation, etc. I'm hoping the price hadn't gone up in 1 day.
I'll look for the thread and send a PM to SG101!I also booked this morning and we are going to Alaska!! We are also on the 6/16/14 sailing and we are so excited! My DS will be 10 on the sailing. If you haven't seen it already - there is already a cruise thread for us! I look forward to chatting and planning with everyone!
9C 2A1K $3968.16 w/OBB, no INS 6/16/2014 Alaska (sorry I don't have the breakdown right now).

Meghatron said:That is bizarre. So if, for whatever reason, you have to cancel right before the sail date, those gratuities to staff you never even met would be part of what you would have to fight to get back from DCL/Allianz/whichever insurance you choose. Are they going to starting adding the excursions we book to what we owe before we get onboard?
So excited to have a veranda on an Alaskan cruise I can actually afford. That 25% off made all the difference for us!!
