I have an ADR I’m looking for no luck checking couple times a day when is it best to check?
Any other tips?
I’ve signed up for TP res finder nothing yet
Thanks

At the 30 day mark when packages have to be paid some will open up.

Also the night before there tends to be a lot of fluidity. I was able to push up a crack of dawn Ohana reservation to something a little more realistic.

Really...good 'ol stalking the website is my go-to method. Once that 30 day mark hits, people will start fine tuning plans, so I've found that last month to be the best time to stalk.

I've had things open up at all different times of day, but tend to have better luck between 6-9 am on weekends. It's like some people have some great dining epiphany on Saturday night and put it into action on Sunday morning. Not saying it always happens like that, but it's happened to me a lot.

Beyond that, the day before has kind of become the magic day to pick up all kinds of things from people dropping stuff to avoid no-show fees. I've seen everything from well timed 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's to fireworks timed California Grill and Rose & Crown with this day before approach. Next time we visit, I plan on doing this for the majority of my dining since we're past the days of we MUST do this.

i've been in your shoes. I remember checking for BOG dinner... I've checked several times a day for months, and NO LUCK at all. None. Zip. I even checked during my trip, and guess what? STILL NOTHING! I usually have luck the day before (because thats when people cancel to avoid paying the penalty)...well guess what? I found an ADR for BOG but it was after 9pm. Which is useless to me because it was smack in the middle of the Happily Ever After show. That was just for BOG though. I have had luck with other restaurants by being persistent and keep checking. Dont give up!!!!

6-9pm the night before is when all kinds of ADRs become available. I snagged an 'Ohana ADR for 7:10 just yesterday, and also saw BOG dinner available then as well.

Oooo this gives me hope. I originally have 1900 park fare scheduled for 4pm on our departure day. I’ll keep it if I have to but I’m SO nervous about not making it back in time for the magical express to take us to the airport so I want to move it to a different night but the only opening is 855p for our party size

Where will DME pick you u? What time? Disney recommends 90 minutes for resort to resort transit. You could pay for a Minnie Van/ Uber or Lyft to speed things up. You need to be at the stop 15 minutes before your time. You need to budget time to retrieve Carryons etc.
I would never rush an expensive character meal

I've had luck on multiple occasions searching during early morning hours between 5-7 am EST. The key is to search frequently.

This is why I’m hoping to get it on a different day. On our departure day 1900 park fare is at 4 we are staying at pop. Uber or mini vans seem expensive bc there are 7 of us.

I just found a reservation for 810p on a different day. it’s a little late to eat for our 3yr old but we are doing HS that morning with a 1230 lunch at sci fi so I’m thinking maybe after lunch go back to the room relax/rest and do the later dinner.

Here are the scenarios I’ve come up with
1-to do chef Mickey brunch on departure day, 1900 on arrival day (our plane arrives at 730am). Right now I have chef Mickey on arrival day for dinner.
2- dinner chef Mickey on arrival and 1900 park fare on our HS day for dinner. And just let departure day be free of reservations.

Is brunch or dinner better for chef Mickey??

I have always gotten whatever I've wanted by refreshing. CRT is the one I booked directly (and you can only book that one by phone, right?) but I always get PPO BOG just by refreshing (booking at way less than 180 days out, often less than 30 days out). Just keep trying.
