yes..I believe that is correct about the 2019 points as we could not use do to covid. Thanks!December 2020 Use Year is 12/1/20 - 11/30/21. 2020 points will have to be used by 11/30/21 or banked by 7/31/20. It looks like you have 150 2019 banked points and 150 2020 UY points. The banked points will have to be used by 11/30/21 as they cannot be banked again.
I know she does...she has helped me before. I had to rent out my 150 points from a cancelled Aulani trip that was supposed to happen in 2020 and now if we travel in the summer of Aulani in 2022, it seems I am facing the same problem with expiring points. So if I rent my 2019 points...will it work to use the 21-22 points 300 and borrow from 2023? (thinking that would give me 450)? Sandisw...is my strategy correct? Thanks! I know you are good at this!@Sandisw explains things very well
Thank you Sandy! So I am again in the same predicament. Do you anticipate the 50% borrowing rule will still be in effect in 2022?Dec UY can be tricky but the biggest piece with any UY is completely forget about calendar year
So, the 150 banked 2019 points expire at the end of your 2020 UY...November 30th, 2021.
Your 150 points can be used during your 2020 UY or banked into your 2021 UY as long as it’s done by July 31st.
And, your 150 2021 UY points can be used during the 2021 UY...which goes from Dec 1st all the way until November 30, 2022.
Thank you Sandy! So I am again in the same predicament. Do you anticipate the 50% borrowing rule will still be in effect in 2022?
Thank you, I appreciate it!My hope is we see it gone by the first half of 2022 because at that point, I think the system should be able to handle it as they would know how availability is holding up for most of 2022 trips.
If you have 2020 points that you are not going to use before September, you can bank them as long as you do it April 30th or sooner.Thank you Sandi!
I'm in the exact predicament as the OP, except with a Sept use year. Looks like a quick trip is needed to use the 2020 points. (I already lost my 2019 points because I forgot to bank )
