What to do with 3-4 hours around Anaheim/Long Beach

We are flying back home out of Long Beach airport but have a later flight back home at 4pm. Hotel check out is 11am. We plan on a one way car rental to get back to the airport.

So what options does the car give us to stay busy till about 2pm? We would prefer to stick around Anaheim/Long Beach and not on the opposite side of LA from the airport.

Any ideas?

Anaheim Packing House for lunch.

Aquarium of the Pacific, Queen Mary, and/or USS Iowa in Long Beach.

With kids? If you have younger kids, the Discovery Cube Museum (https://www.discoverycube.org/) or Cabrillo Marine Aquarium might be good options (https://www.cabrillomarineaquarium.org/visit-cma.asp)

Go to the Aquarium of the Pacific and/or just have a nice lunch over there and walk around the shops and lighthouse (Lots of restaurants).

Think you will have done everything you want around the Disneyland Resort by then? Just because you have to check out by 11 am, that doesn't mean you have to actually leave the property. You can have bell services store your stuff while you spend time in DTD.

We often go to Santa Monica for a short walk around the pier / beach, do a bit of shopping at 3rd St. Promenade and then get In n’Out before returning to the airport.

If we have time before we fly out, we like to go out to Huntington Beach for pictures and lunch at Duke's.

Totally agree with this sentiment. The fun stuff in LB is the opposite direction of the airport, so I personally would hang around DTD and it’s hotels. Now that Dland hotel, Paradise Pier and the Grand…you’ll have a few more hours of Disney fun! Explore, take more pics, enjoy more Disney food, and some extended pixie dust!

Make sure you get last minute snacks from Marcelines! Their bags are so pretty! Oh, and try to get the soap dispenser (dispenses a Mickey head soap) in the stores in DTD. They sell out fast.

You could also just have a nice sit-down lunch in property. Making a reservation at 11:30 would be perfect.

In DTD, World of Disney, Disney Home Store, and Steve and Kai (youtubers) have said they have also seen them in the Dress store right by the entrance into GCH from DTD. They are 9.99 plus tax. I really want one. Disney, if you are reading this, please make one in the colors of Mickey, one of Minnie, one of Goofy, etc. This dispenser is a HIT!

I second the Long Beach Aquarium and then walk to the restauarants for a nice lunch. You can see the Queen Mary from the harbor area.
