What is the best way to visit other resorts?

Just purchased!! We'll be flying "home" SSR next year for a week. Don't plan on renting a car. What is the best way to get to the other resorts to check them out?

I assume you mean the other DVC resorts.

There's no direct transportation between resorts, so you have to go to an intermediate stop first. Downtown Disney would make the most sense for that.

To get to DD you can either walk, take one of the busses, or take the boat. Depending on what villa you're staying in, walking may be the quickest, otherwise the bus is probably your best bet.

For OKW: From SSR you can walk directly to OKW, or you can catch the boat directly from SSR, or go to DD and catch an OKW bus.

BWV/BCV: Go to DD and catch whichever bus comes first. Once you get to the Epcot resorts area, you can easily walk between the BWV and BCV resorts.

VWL: You'll need to bus to get there. Get to DD and catch a VWL bus.

Keep in mind your intermediate stop can be anywhere all the resort busses stop at. That includes DD and all the theme parks.

If you want to make a day of it, you could do something like this:

1. From SSR go to OKW (via any of the 3 methods mentioned) and check out the OKW resort.
2. From OKW catch a bus to MGM Studios.
3. Walk from the bus stop at MGM to BWV and check out the BWV resort.
4. From BWV, walk to BCV and check out the BCV resort
5. From BCV catch a bus to Magic Kingdom.
6. From Magic Kingdom take the boat to VWL and check out the VWL resort.
7. From VWL take a bus to DD
8. From DD walk back to SSR.
