What does PM showers mean for January?

Not something to worry about.

If there are actually any showers, it does not mean that they will actually happen
where you happen to be... and not necessarily last for more than a short time, if you do get them.

Also, if you are basing this from a "forecast," there's no reason to trust that farther than 12 hours in advance, if even that.

Something as vague as "PM showers" means the forecasters have no clue. Don't worry about it. Robo has it correct.

Echo the above. We’ve been here seventeen days and the forecast for rain seems to be very unpredictable. They say rain in the afternoon, it rains in the morning. They call for all day rain, not a drop falls. Carry on as planned even through the rain, but at the very least, until the rain starts.

Lol so true. On our MK day last week the forecast all day called for thunder showers. They never appeared and it was sunny and warm all day.

This is FL it rains in FL just about every day. come prepared for rain and if it does you are prepared and if it does not then good. most of the rain in FL is short-lived ( an hour sometimes less and sometimes more.) but when a hurricane comes the floodgates can open, But January is not hurricane season so you are good.
