What are you most proud/ashamed of about your home?

Proud: We paid cash for it.

We've only been there for 2 1/2 years and it was in perfect, move-in condition. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Proud: Beautiful plantation style balcony and front porch
Embarrassed: Husband's office, loft and game room. All his man spaces are a mess.

That my wife and I bought it new for cash 22 years ago. We were able to do this with the profits from our previous house we sold.

We never really did anything with the back yard till last year. After 21 years we finally put in a paver deck with a fire pit and bought a new grill.
