Dinner
This one I booked on a whim. I don't remember if I had something else booked, or if I was initially planning on just more F&W booths for dinner. I just remember that evening peeping the app for late dinner reservations at Epcot, saw this one, and decided to grab it just for the lols.
Arancini: Fried Risotto Balls filled with Mozzarella and Meat Ragù. (These were weird. I mean, definitely different, and I ate every bite, but not something I would ever order again. They were NOT... dare I say it... amazeballs.)
I'll say it straight out: I should have just ordered pasta. But I'd read so much about how fabulous these pizzas were that I decided to give it a try. I went with the Prosciutto e Melone Pizza: White pizza with fontina, mozzarella, prosciutto, cantaloupe, and arugula. But I don't eat cantaloupe so I had them leave that off. That's right, you heard me, I ordered the melon pizza with no melon. So what, big whoop, wanna fight about it?
So the middle of the pizza was delicious, it was just a LOT of crust. And I'm somebody who never eats her pizza crust. Ever. In fact, the less crust the better. So that was really my only issue. Too much crust, not enough middle!
Tiramisù: Mascarpone cream, espresso coffee, lady fingers, and chocolate. (Now THIS did make the entire meal worthwhile! Jeebus Christo, this might be the best tiramisu I've ever had. And the portion was HUGE. So much so that I only ate a couple bites, and took the rest back to the room with me. And lemme tell you, it made an fantastic breakfast the next morning!)
