WDW in early December? Best day to fly in/out?

We've decided to go to Disney World in early December.

We plan to stay for approx. 6 nights. Subject to change.

What day of the week is better to arrive/leave?

Would it be better to fly down to Disney during the week
and come home during the week to avoid the weekend crowds?

I'm curious as well! We're going Dec 9 - 13 (Wed - Sun) and hoping for smaller crowds at least a few of the days.

It's pop warner that week I believe. I know my large family grand gathering group is going the week of the 6th-13th. I heard last year that 2nd week is fairly busy and the 3rd week is less busy. Guess I will find out
