Victoria's 10th Birthday Solo trip with Dapper Day and Club 33

About 6:45, we were back in the parks and ready for our Hungry Bear Fantasmic! package meals. Our first time doing this as we ALWAYS elect for Blue Bayou seating, alas we could not get it on this trip.

While in the meal queue the DLR passed twice. I was happy to finally get a shot of it on the overpass to Critter Country which will be forgotten.

I got the ribs, which were actually quite generous portion-wise. I even gave some to Amy. The Potato salad was weird, but I liked it and finished hers. The Dessert was a s’more type creation which hit the spot. I honestly longed for Big Thunder Ranch BBQ as opposed to this.

Amy got the Salmon, which I think I should have gotten instead. It was much, much better for someone who tends to smoke their own smoked ribs and seldom if ever buys BBQ vs making it myself.

After Dinner, instead of trying to brave the cluster that is NOS during F!, we passed through SWGE instead. It's much better at night in my opinion.

We were headed towards Tomorrowland... Only to discover (and you guessed it), Space was 101 YET AGAIN!!!

Matt, your reports are THE BEST!! I can never get over your photos. I'm really sorry that the ride experiences were so poor during your trip, but glad you still managed to grab some magic. Are you thinking about going to DD this spring? I hope I can make it.

Is what it is. Seems to be the new thing to expect. We ALWAYS make the best of it though. I'm always at home behind my camera, even if I'm a bit rusty this trip.

So.... as our Space was AGAIN cancelled, time to head back to the West Side.. I'm not joking when I said all we did was walk left to right and right to left this trip. Nothing was consistenlly up. Thankfully HM was one of the things we could sub for SM.

So, the boarding area when did it change? And we have the cat now?

Still with Vampire Teddy...

I always have the wrong lense affixed to capture this guy...

Zero I can often catch though.

Not sure how these Teddy's compare. Hope they are good.

OK, this skull and bones... I've longed to have a set. Sadly no more props for Matt until I have disposable income again. I have a supplier though...

OK, This is something I can't figure out. I used to be able to get the Gingerbread house in one clear unobstructed shot. Did the raise the railing?

Amy is ALIWAYS on the list... full name... I never get the prominence.

You never get to see the graveyard sans the Overlay. It is quite the vista..

After we got off HM, we decided to find our place of the Hungry Bear F! show spots. I just have to say, my MOST UNCOMFORTABLE spot ever. I was literally sitting a drainage ditch with people who were allowed to stand 4 feet away and a rope indicating I needed to sit IN A DRAINAGE DITCH. I was not allowed to stand and I had to sit at extreme uncomfort with one side of my body being 8" lower than the other. Pretty much BS. I gave the High ground to the women.

Despite the SEVERE uncomfort, I managed to get some good shots...

Ka was great as usual...

Here is why I hate using AF... The rigging is FIRE. Jack... Not so much...

Exhausted, we TRIED to get back to Tomorrowland.. Let me tell you, the YOU CAN ONLY GO THIS WAY people need to STOP. Like I'm TRYING to go there, but you are FORCING me into FRONTIERLAND. What happens if you just disagree and do what makes sense? Do they arrest you? It's IDIOTIC. Regardless we made our way back towards the monorail.. It was not just an attraction this trip as in trips past, it was a means of conveyance...

But.. Not before one last trip on Tea Cups

Now... for the long walk. But wait... we weren't returning to the hotel just yet...We had to Australia..

After our return trip, I was FLAT OUT EXHAUSTED...Time for a monorail back..

Finally HOME!!

Just finally caught up oaths one. I can NOT believe that is Victoria, she has grown! And has the same look of pre teen angst my daughter totes around! Ha!

I would love to see the rest of this report. I know it wasn't your favorite trip, based on other posts, but it's still wonderful!!! Keep it coming....
