Vero beach pool

I know beach is public but how does the resort monitor who uses pool? Do we wear magic bands or do they give access cards or bracelets? Just curious how it works. I know in Disney the gates are locked and entered with magic bands.

We were just at Vero a few weeks ago but didn't bother with the pool as the weather wasn't great. I didn't notice any system for wrist bands while walking past. I don't think there's a real issue with outsiders going to their pool as the resort isn't really accessible to the general public.
