Vaccination Update from ABD

So trips to Japan into early June, 2022, have been officially cancelled already? That's good to know. Their web site still shows May 15 as an upcoming trip, but that's something I guess they just didn't update yet. We're really on edge for what to do about money we have down on October, 2022. When we called ABD a few months ago, and they were not going to give us a refund. Maybe it's time for another call. We don't even care if they hold the money for a future trip, but at this point, we'd prefer to not have to make very expensive last-minute arrangements to travel to Asia in the event they open their borders and ABD 'forces' a trip in with reduced experiences. Thanks for this info - it's helpful.
Sorry to pop in here, but is there a reason you can't take care of the vaccination requirement refund? From my understanding--maybe someone can clarify--all you need to do is tell them you'd like a refund due to the vaccine requirement for trips. You don't have to give them any medical information.
 
Thanks for the info in this thread. The experiences you shared helped us with our decision to request (and receive) a refund on our trip to Japan. Just don't see it happening, and now that we have a refund, we can regroup and begin the planning for 2023, or more likely 2024, when the world is a bit more back to normal - HOPEFULLY!! There is often a great deal of helpful info on these boards. This post was helpful to us.
