Are they letting DLH guests use the other GCH entrance for EE now? The one by storytellers? It was pre Covid (so years ago lol) but they were only allowing GCH guests to use it then. Just want to confirm before we try. Thanks

A few weeks ago they weren’t checking for hotel guests at either of the hotel park entrances.

Well, goodbye Disneyland! My 10 year old got emotional as we left disneyland. I may have cried too.

We got some good sleep last night, and had brunch at storytellers where we finally got a family Mickey picture! We got a bit more pool time and now are on the way to the airport. I cannot believe it finally happened and it's already over. We currently don't have any Disney plans on the books, and that's hard! But it's the right choice for my family right now. The magic at Disneyland is real. I do have critiques of the new systems in place, but really overall our trip was incredible.

I'm glad you had an overall great trip. You got to experience the FULL spectrum of Anaheim weather in just a week!

Ooooo one more thing.. the magic is real. At storytellers when the waiter saw that my son and I got a little emotional he asked my husband if everything was okay while we got more food. He told the waiter about our delayed trip, and how I went on a health journey and got my doctorate while we put off the trip. The waiter then brought us a Mickey cake (on the house) and told us how touched he was by our story. And that is the cherry on top. Glad to answer any specific questions. I'm going to post about specific experiences on some of their designated threads.

Our DLH key opened the gate. We never used it for EE tho. They had the sign up that that entrance was for hotel guests only, but at the entrance they never checked. We just use the DTD security line for early entry.

Question for the OP (or anyone). How do you convert a LL pass when a ride goes down? Is it done on the app or do you have to do it with a CM?

It happens automatically.

It's automatic unless you are already in the line/have scanned in. I'm not sure what happens for that for regular LL but for ILL (specifically ROTR) they scan you as they are escorting you out which loads the special MEP back in your account. If you find yourself in this situation, pay close attention and don't accidentally use that MEP on something else.

The GCH entrance into the park is accessible to DLH guests. You use your key at the gate into the hotel. This can change at any time.

Ugh. Well, we usually leave by 9 anyway since my son can't tolerate fireworks. Will probably head out right after dinner.

We were there yesterday all day and the crowds were fantastic until 5. It was next level crowded in the evening. We had been talking about booking next Friday evening and then said forget it. Tons of people coming in after work…. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. Had a very pleasant day all day though!
