Travel insurance

Getting ready for our trip in July....and due to the threat of hurricane & covid issues...just wondering where to start in looking for insurance? Ive looked at multiple plans the jargon has me slightly confused.....just looking for a plan that will reimburse if the trip is canceled due to inclement weather (i.e. Disney shut down) or if someone is sick and we cant go.....

Call in to Travel Guard for Travel Guard Plus quote. We found it a lot less expensive than the online quotes from Travel Guard.

We bought travel insurance for a Disney trip several years ago not realizing that it wouldn't cover cancellation due to an emergency or death resulting from a known illness.

We wanted the insurance because a close relative was in a decline due to cancer and might have died during our trip.

Upon seeing a thread similar to yours on a message board, we read the details more carefully on our insurance and discovered we wouldn't be covered at all had the very thing we sought coverage for happened.

We needed the kind with no exclusions and had no idea it was even available.
