Anyone have experience with this? What time do they pick you up? I also heard something about they let you got to Animal Kingdom for the early mornign and transport you from there. Do you pay for a full day admission for this? We are staying at the Dolphin and are still unsure about the DCL transportation buses and when and where they will pick us up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lori

Lori, there is a pick-up right at the Swan and Dolphin. The other pick-ups are at the resorts that are part of the land/sea package, and the PARKING LOT of the Animal Kingdom (no admission required). Whichever you choose, if you have purchased the transfers be sure DCL knows your pick-up point. :)

Hi,

We had the land and sea package last Dec. We stayed at the Poly, and caught a bus to AK mid-morning. We spent several hours at the AK, and then caught the DCL bus to the port about 1:00. We checked in easily, and walked right onto the ship.

We didn't have any plans to do Palo, SPA, etc. Hence, a relatively late arrival to the ship worked out fine. The only thing we might have done differently, was to leave the Poly and head to the AK a bit earlier. Our visit at that park was quite brief due to the timeframes.

Hope this helps!

If you're not on the Land & Sea package, consider alternate forms of transportation (limo or towncar). We were able to take a limo (we used YourRide )roundtrip for only $20 more than the DCL bus and, most importantly, we were on OUR schedule, not theirs! :)
