Time Limit to reactivate Freestyle cup?

I have a Freestyle cup that I purchased on a trip 2 years ago. Would I still be able to reactivate it for a single day for $9.99?

I’m always looking for ways to cut down on waste so this is great.
Is there any difference in cost between buying first time and reactivating? This wouldn’t be my personal motivation for doing it, but would be keen to see Disney incentivising people to reduce their disposable purchases.

*I’ve just realised the original posting related to Universal, so keen to know if same applies for Disney refillable cups.

The fee is $19.99 for a refillable mug at Disney. It's for the duration of your Disney vacation. There has been a lot of changes over the years, but on the more recent information I can find they no longer reactive them even if they have a chip in them. Unless anyone else has any other comments you can if anything call Disney to find out.

The difference between Disney and Universal is that Universal you can use their cups within the parks, where as for Disney it's at the resorts.
