Things I Would Love to see Disney add to the Fort

I would love to see a late night Earl of sandwich CS added to the Fort. That would be the best. But if they have to add it to WL would work too. And late night means not closing at 10pm may be open until 3am.:cool1:

I would definately like to see some type of counter service available.

I thought they could combine this with an enhanced grocery type market, something along the line of a Fresh Market type thing.

In fact, I am surprised that Disney has not put a couple of Fresh Market type stores on WDW property, with all the DVC accomodations that they now have in addition to the campground, there are a lot of people doing their own cooking.

A delicatessen would be nice. One where you can get a nice sandwich with a side or mac or potato salad (similar to Earl of Sandwich) and also get the meat/cheese/salads by the pound and the bread rolls by the each.

Those are all some really good suggestions - especially Earl of Sandwich or the like!

Not sure about the casino, though. That pesky mouse gets enough of my money as it is. :rotfl:

Disney has always been a trend setter,,specially in $$,,I love to see them add nostalgic/cheaper prices to the Fort.

I would like to see straight forward reservations, and not have to play games expanding dates & then calling to cancel the dates you don't need.

I would like to see a food court that opens at 6am & closes no sooner than midnight.

I would like to see the wilderness-like foliage grow back.

I would like to see some rules enforced.

I would like to see the train operating once more.

An outdoor counter service down at the lake, with cooked to order barbecue dogs, burgers, chicken, etc. (picnic type food), as well as fresh fruit and/or salads. A cold drink (preferably beer!:thumbsup2) along with music and a nice bonfire at night.

Ditto on the counter service/food court/deli. I'd also like to see an ice cream truck and a pizza wagon circle around the loops every night.

It would be nice not to stand ine line for 45 minutes at the meadows pool snack bar to buy a $9 pre-made margarita.

The meadow up until sometime in the 80’s had a full deli and produce. You could get fresh deli sandwiches all day and fresh meat cut in front of you.

Then you better get this

If you have a car and drive to the parks, the Port Orleans-French Quarter food court is partially open until midnight; I stop there and pick up a late night treat when staying at the Fort and coming back from the parks when hungry, you have to come in the back way via Bonnet Creek Parkway to Vista Boulevard.

We camped in the fort back in the early 80's and the trading posts had a pretty good grocery and food section. As time passed, they had less and less because campers were not buying. Most came with thier own food.

The CS sound great......but I think its a matter of enough sales!

I agree with all of you. Here are a few more:

1. A soda dispenser like the one at trails end put at the medows swimming pool and the medows traiding post to avoid waiting in line

2. A bigger tavern maybe in the mystry building next to the arcade by trails end, or just keep Croketts tavern open a little later instead of closing at 10pm

3. I love the idea of an ice cream truck or maybe more like a ranger at a golf course selling ice cream around the loops

4. Card access for Fort guest only at the pools

5. Any other type of food option ( we love roaring fork at the lodge)
