Much as I've been guilty of stirring the pot, let's at least give credit to Kimmar for sticking to this and providing us with updates this summer.

NO PROBLEM.

TRIP 1
1.made reservations on-line for club level poly., club level clerk made dinner reservations and some special activities during the trip. airline reservations made, first class, to orlando, round trip.

2. wife and I made general plans for visiting the parks. day before we packed. put pets in vacation pet kennels.

3. flew to orlando, town car picked us up. went to hotel, went to parks, had some nice dinners, saw some fireworks, relaxed, had a good time.

4. returned home. paid off credit card charges. received packages of stuff we bought and mailed home.

the end.

2nd trip, see 1 through 4 about.

dlr trip, same except no airline flights.

taaa daaaaaa!

ACTUALLY, we take a lot of pictures with the small sony cybershots we got for travel. since they include one, or both of us, its not my inclination to post them on the interwebs.

and the ones of the parks, well, there are THOUSANDS of similer ones and I am not so egotistical as to think mine are any better than any others.


Oh, I think you are gonna have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG WAIT!

I'm a big trip report lurker (but not poster!).

The trip reports I like tend to be:
- not too "clique-y" (sometimes all the chatter is just out of control and makes it impossible to follow)
- has chapter links!!! (Especially if it goes on for many pages)
- decently written (spelling, grammar, paragraphs)
- not have too many fake names ("We were in Disney with our family of 20, but instead of giving you their names, let's call them Ariel, Belle, etc..." I lose the thread)

And the last - most important thing - for me, is a positive trip report. I understand that sometimes not everyone has a great trip to Disney. I just don't personally like to read about a lot of bickering, people being miserable, Disney haters, etc.

ESPECIALLY when it seems like (from the TR at least) that the reason they are not having much fun is because they didn't really plan - i.e., getting to the park at noon in the summer and dealing with heat and long lines, or keeping small children up until the wee hours and then being disappointed when said children are cranky for the next day's touring. Uhh... yeah.

Sorry, that sounded judgmental... these are just my personal preferences!

....THIS is part of why it takes me so long to update my TR's....I don't wanna post any drivel just for the sake of posting any ol' thing....I really try to put in a lot of thought behind every idea I'm trying to communicate, AND do it in an amusing, thought-provoking way....I mean, my trip reports would be like any other TR on the DIS [no offense meant to anybody!]. Really, how much can one embellish on the same old parks, the same old resorts, the same old rides and attractions, etc. without injecting a little of themselves to the mix?
