I'm not going. :guilty: I want to so bad but we are going next month and that would be to soon to go again. But I am going to keep working on DH. ;)

Let's keep this thread going :thumbsup2 I am going to this party during my birthday week and I am really looking forward to it :goodvibes

Great idea for a post. We (me and DBF) are going on Jan 22nd. It's our anniversary that day. We have CRT booked the evening before for the 'formal' celebration, but decided to do this as our 'silly' celebration. No kids but figured we'd still have fun.

Might be worth noting r/e tickets: I originally ordered my tickets around July 7th and was assured I would receive the tickets within 14 days. One month later I was still waiting so I call WDW and they agreed to re send them. This time they send them by DHL (I love in England) so they got to me no probs. So if you think your tickets got lost in the post, just call them to sort it out.

As we don't have kids, we won't have full costumes. Whilst at DLP last month I bought DBF a Pirate hat and eye patch, and myself a Princess Crown!

We have been looking foward to this party since the day they announced it!

My son(he'll be 15 then) and I are going Feb. 15 & 23. I'm planning for us to dress as pirates during one of the parties.

We keep going back and forth on it. Our kids aren't nightowls, but it would be our last night, so only need to get up to go to the airport the next day.

Yeah just torture me. We had to cancel our trip for February (my DS's 5th birthday) and wouldn't you know it, there is a party ON his birthday.

I'm going to the 2/12 one. It's for my birthday trip, and technically, since it runs until 12:30 AM, I will be in the MK when my brithday starts, since after 12:00 AM it would be 2/13.

Thanks for sharing that info!

So to everyone who has already received your tickets; How long did it take for you to get them?

Ours took 5 (mail) days. I ordered them August 8th, and they arrived on August 14th.

We are planning on attending the Jan 22nd party. I will add to the poll once I get the tickets, though.

I don't know what to do about costumes. I am going to make costumes, and I know my ds will be a pirate, and maybe I can convince my husband to dress up to match him, but I don't know what I should wear. I will probably leave it up to my daughter, and we will match. I'm not very creative or clever, though. Does anyone have any great ideas?

Edit: I just ordered our tickets, so we're all set to go for the 22nd!

we're going on the 26th of january, and although we have no kids we'll definately be dressing up!

dh as a pirate, me as a pirate princess (lol, why yes I do have a tiara and a pair of shackles....)

we're thinking of booking to go to a second party on the same trip and go as a prince/princess...

We are going Jan 22nd. I know our girls will dress up(age 6 and 2), but not sure about self and DH. Would be fun, but our suitcases are usually packed to the max already. Depends on what I can find at the after Halloween sales!!

We are going to the party our first night there. We are coming for our Honeymoon and first trip to the world. My DFH booked this as a surprise for me. We are doing dress up, but gotta lock down our costumes since what we want will need to be very detailed, but hey that is the fun of it. This sounds like a fun party we have dinner ressies at Boma for 5 at our resort, then we were gonna go to the room and get into gear and head to the party. I have been concerned cause there has been talk of people who did not buy hard tickets maybe able to stay in the park which kind of has us miffed. We are doing this for the limited engagement and special shows, fireworks, and interaction. We honestly did not want to have to fight for a viewing spot with people who did not pay extra to get in. I have also heard that wristbands maybe given out starting at 4. What if you have dinner ressies and need to head out for a bus before 4. Since akl is much farther we thought we may need to head back there early so we can check into dinner without having to rush. Any ideas?? We are also going as Pirates since by the good grace of god my DFH looks like Johnnys Twin, and when in Pirate gear is an identical to Capn Jack gotta love that bonus. :rotfl: :bride:
