I'm so on the same page. Its just so pristine and white its almost sterile looking. I need a bit more character and ruggedness in my hotels.t's very beautiful and grand, but not at the top of my list. It's not even in the middle.

Oh no, poor thing with the weather but glad it all ended ok. And at least she had a wedding. My mother had all of these grandiose notions for what she envisioned for me and I eloped to VegasA Disney wedding was out of the question no matter how many times I asked. An outdoor wedding on the lake was in, no matter how many times I may have mentioned the unpredictability of weather. Yep. Hurricane Joaquin made landfall here in NJ the day before her wedding, and the nasty weather stayed for the weekend.
How sweet! My brother Nick redid their beachfront walkway, and surprised them with this commemorative insert that he made for them!
Yum! I do not like eggs but strangely like egg salad which I know makes no sense, but nevertheless I'd eat every single one of these! So our favorite was the egg salad and our least favorite was the poached pear. I guess we have pretty similar taste, as our favorites and least favorites were the same.
OMG dying!!!!! I have no idea how you handled that as well as you did. I would have asked for another table or told him and his mullet where to go. Not very high tea of me, but well I'm not very high teae turned to him to be polite and say hello, and he introduces himself as Mark. Before you know it, we know his entire life, work, and Disney vacation history. This man could talk! Did I mention the mullet? No? Well, let me tell you, I thought I had been teleported back to the 1980's long hair band era!
Yum! This sounds so good. I'm a sucker for lemon just like you.My favorite part of the dessert was the scone with the clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam. I want that right now! I'm not a huge sweets eater, and like more biscuity type desserts, and I LOVE lemon, so the scone and lemon curd was right up my alley. So so so good!
I just jot thoughts down in the notes app on my phone. They are rarely extensive but (unless they are tipsy) i usually have enough to piece it all back together.Sorry I'm not able to be more descriptive. I solemnly promise for my next dining report I will take notes, although they won't be as much fun to read as @kastoney 's tipsy notes!
Oh I totally see it. Its all in the cheeks and chin!I don't know how people say my sister & I resemble each other. I don't see it at all.
Yum! This would be right up my alleyVegetarian Falafel Pita- freshly house-made with ground chickpeas, cucumber and tomato, and crumbled feta

In the meantime, we can't have any conversation between us because, Mark. Oh, Mark also always get champagne with his tea. And he was staying at Pop although he has stayed at all the resorts, and he's a DVC member. Cool, so are we. He also brought up his mullet, and conceded that it was a little odd, but that he's had it forever, and he likes it, so he's keeping it. Okey dokey.
OMG Steve would have NOT been happy! Before you know it, we know his entire life, work, and Disney vacation history. This man could talk
you're staying nice things about him though too............I hope Mark isn't on these boards as I really don't want to offend him,
This is hysterical! Now I need to look for him on all my trips.Face blocked for privacy purposes, although, at this point, I seriously doubt there are too many mullets like this walking around.

We took the bus from Coronado to the MK, and then the monorail to the GF, so we took the elevator down from the second floor to get to the Tea Room. This gentleman on the scooter was in front of us, and I couldn't resist taking the picture. I was so lololol at his shirt! How true is that!
