I'll close up shop tonight
miz - come on to my house...I've got a room full of broken VCRs/DVDs/old computers that don't work right. DH hasn't had the time to tinker with them, they're on the bottom of the list I guess. Must say I think I only paid $25 for the last DVD I bought. VCR's are getting scarce, probably should pick up an extra to have on hand. Clerk told me they'll be discountinued soon - I hope not.
mic - I still think the co-worker is CIA on a secret mission or in witness protection plan. This is turning out to be a real cliff hanger. PS - I liked sally fields as the flying nun.
pam - officer Jeremy (will somebody please hire my son?) is hanging in there. His tummy is still sore, has to set up Dr. appt. for check up. He came home very discouraged today from work @ KFC. He gave them "informal" notice that he's looking for work in his field. He's the only employee @ night qualified to train a new cook. His replacement is an older gent, with 1 arm....no, he's not The Fugitive. He said there's no way this guy is going to be able to handle the 50 pd. boxes of chicken, fryers, snow removal, etc. Got home really late tonight because it took the poor trainee 2 hours to bread a tray of chicken that should only take 15 min. DS called his "new" manager & said he didn't think this guy was going to catch on but, they insist that he go thru the whole training process for fear of discrimination suit. I told Jer to go with the flow & do his best. He's actually afraid the guy is going to get hurt.
deena - sounds like you've got chickens leaving the nest.
ocm - honestly, my "girls" aren't fit for the light of day. I even had my arms crossed over my chest. Of course, my family found it hysterical & laughed like hyenas. My DH is the free-spirited type, he kept telling me no one noticed - until I screamed.
