Staying at 2 onsite hotel?

Haven't been to DLP since Oct 2013. Hoping to go again as part of celebrations for my 50th birthday next year. This trip ideally l'd like to stay at 2 onsite hotels - 3 nights Newport Bay (only DLP hotel we've never stayed at) & 2 nights Disneyland Hotel, have stayed there before but would like to stay Castle Club this trip if the extra cost isn't too extortionate, but don't mind if we can't as just being at DLP again will be wonderful no matter where we stay.

What would the best/cheapest way to book the trip be - book direct with DLP (l am a shareholder, subject to renewing my membership) or via travel agent, Expedia etc. We would travel by plane from Scotland.

Would l still be able to book a package with tickets if staying at 2 onsite hotels?

I'm not an annual pass holder & can't fit in more than one trip a year to DLP, so not sure getting one would be worth it.

Thanks for any help.

Most likely look at booking your package direct and have a look at each country as they have different deals. Although you won't get Castle club discounted as the rooms are never included. You might have to call them to book the 2 hotels or do 2 bookings you will have passes for the duration. Even if you find a deal under another country you can book that just ask for it

Book flights separate as most people state this is the cheapest.

agree with @tennisfan :)

1. Check all the different countries websites for a price for the hotels and dates you want. Do the checks separate, ie check for 3 nights Newport then the following 2 nights for Disneyland hotel. Might be best to create a speadsheet as it will take some time

2. When you find the deal that suits you, ring the contact number for Disney from your own country and ask to be transferred to the other country, ie if you live in UK but want to book the offer on the French website, ring the UK contact number and ask to be transferred to the French call centre

3. Book your flights from UK separately. Check www.skyscanner.com for the cheapest flights. Also check easyjet and ryanair.

4. Transport from the airport to Disney

If you do it as 2 separate bookings it will probably be more expensive as you will end up with 2 lots of tickets one day as you get them for the day you leave and day you arrive so bear this in mind
