standard rooms at AKV

Are the standard rooms at Jambo bigger than Value? Is it worth the extra points? I know Kidani has more room but we like that side bc of the food court. what ate the views? Pool and parking lot?

Standard and savanna view rooms at Jambo are the same size, are larger than value, and are about the same size as rooms at BWV, SSR, VWL, and BCV. Kidani studios are about the same size as savanna and standard view studios at Jambo. It is the 1BRs and thus 2BRs at Kidani that are significantly larger than the Jambo standard and savanna rooms, and have the extra bathroom.

Most standard views at Jambo have pool view. A small number have partial savanna view.

Standard at Jambo thus gives you more room than value and there is no risk of parking lot view. Standard 1BRs and 2 BRs also have the sleeper chair in the living room which the values do not. Note that value rooms are very often impossible to get at 7 months out. Because of low point cost, there is high demand for them and there are only a limited number of value rooms. There are many times when you need to reserve value exactly 11 months out to get one because they can disappear very quickly once the 11 month window opens. Standard views are usually easy to get at 7 months out.

The standard and savanna view rooms at Jambo House are about three feet deeper (from the entrance to the windows) than the value villas. Standard at JH are mostly pool view and some partially blocked savanna views.

thanks for the replies. we need a HA room to. Not even sure if sure if the have HA values... We own at akv booking right at 7 mos isnt an issue

Not necessarily...since they re-classified some partial savanna rooms as standard at Jambo, you can get as long of a walk as savanna....but you get to watch some animals as a bonus

I am not sure if there were any reclassified HC rooms, though.
