SSR transportation when checking in

Hi there,

We are headed down for a weekend in August, staying at SSR for the first time. Our flight gets in at 10pm, and we are planning on taking mears to the hotel. Usually we rent a car but not this trip. When you are dropped off to check in, how do you get to your room if it is really far away? Do you take a bus from the check in area?

Thank you!

There’s usually someone at bell services who will take you in a golf cart. If you don’t see someone or they don’t offer it, just ask. They’ll probably offer it.

In addition to golf carts, the buses run through SSR so you can catch one to the clubhouse or from the clubhouse (if you're not sure which way the bus is going, you can ask the driver).

Odds are by the time they get to SSR, there probably won’t be any buses running. I’m sure Disney will cut back on park hours soon, so you’ll get even less for your money. Seems to a common theme lately with the 2 Bobs in charge. Iger was quoted before he became CEO for the second time that Disney tickets costs are too high, he came back and did basically nothing about ticket prices, up until recently, well after the 50th was over. He got rid of parking fees at resorts at WDW, a fee he created.

Well, that was out of nowhere!

Bell services will take you, there’s a bellman on 24 hours. You can’t take luggage on the resort busses. Or any resort transportation.
